"Hello Citizens of Liberty. It is with great sadness that we inform
you of a fellow Reporter, who was fatally shot in the chest and head last
night on the sub-streets of Manhattan.
Karl Grogan, a respected reporter for the Camera News Flying Bar
was found dead at outside 554 Coinonia Street, in the lower suburbs
of Manhattan. Media staff described the scene as horrific. Due to the
time this broadcast is being aired we are not showing pictures from the scene.
Karl Grogans body being Airlifted to Hospital
Karl's body was moved to the upper levels and airlifted to the hospital prior to
the Morgue. Forensics stated that Karl suffered concussive bruises prior to
being shot 3 times in the chest and once in the head. His ID and datapads
seems to have gone missing or stolen from his person.
LPI officials have not released a statement as of yet,
but we will keep you updated as we find out more.
"Karl Grogan was an energetic young lad, Full of vibrancy.
We loved him dearly. we will miss him." Henry Ford, Co-reporter.
"I cant....I cant...believe this...has...*snif* happened.. Why? Why??!
Why Karl? He didn't deserve this! He was such a nice guy!
Why did this have to happen?!" Secretary for CNFB
Karl Grogans funeral will be held in three days time, at Newark Station at Wed 7:30am GMT.
In his will he requested that he be set adrift in a starflier and his body and
ship be burned in space, the place that he most loved.
Newark has agreed to fire upon the starflier in accordance with his last wishes.

Due to an overlooked double booking by the timing and calendar team,
the family has asked that Karl Grogan's funeral and last rites be
rescheduled to 5 minutes from now.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Newark has been informed.
We have installed a camera onto Karl's ship so we may see
the last thing he sees, space - the place that he loved.
