I just wish there was a rule which prohibited being an idiot, in any kind of ship, from Starflier to Battleship.
Most often, and this isn't solely about this topic, the people who avoid breaking the rules, but behave as an out of roleplay idiot are the ones most disruptive to the server.
The ones that break the rules can be reported, the ones that are a player faction or have a presence on the forum can be reasoned and talked with and it can be settled.
The only problem, and note that I am and always will be in favor of independent characters, as many of mine are such, is the people that behave like first class idiots, but can't be reached on forums, Skype, or any other channels, and do just enough not to get sanctioned, but behave totally and utterly out of roleplay and logic.

At Yue a few posts back: Yeah, sure, if they're being a jackass, sitting in your face and taunting you, go for it. But in my opinion, Cruisers/BC's/BS's -really- shouldn't be seeking out fights with lone fighters/bombers or camping hostile bases for teh lulz.
It goes both ways deffinatly. In all honesty, the whole cap killing fighters is overrated. In my 2 years here I have seen a cap purposly chase a single fighter like 4 times. I did it once.....
Now, fighters are more dangerous as scouts and assistance to bombers. If I had one following me in my caps I would probly vaporise it after a moment's thought.
I usually see a lot of gunboats, but I have never seen a cap of major unlawful factions in Liberty. Sure NY teh centar of Liberty, but I'd like (in my Rogues and Zoners opinion) have the lawful caps spread all over Liberty and not sitting and squatting on one spot, because everytime I see THAT I know there is the same amount of unlawful gbs sitting on the other side of the gate.
