Was hoping someone could advice me whether this is against the rules or just 'bad form'
I was in My Xeno Bomber in Colorado when I came across 4 Outcasts in a group pirating at the Colorado/NY JG. 3 GB's and a cruiser so hey no match for me so I Jump. Hit cruise on the other side and the cruiser follows me, announces 'engaging xeno' and tries to cd me, but I CM it. He follows me in cruise and I go to the NY/colorado JH and head for Ouray, hes about 3.5k behind. I get to Ouray and I could have speed docked but I know it is frowned upon so I do a normal dock and 'bang' he blows me up. Could have swore the cut scene was kicking in but must have got me just before. Anyway pretty annoying and I have read about shooting people as they undock but what about when they are docking? Clearly the guy just wanted to kill me no matter what but it has left a bad taste in my mouth
Both one can let someone run, if they really run for it, and folloring to a homebase ist extrodenary bad form.
Just think of them as idiots, who need the blue line more than fun or roleplay.
But no rule against it, only if they camp the base, but 4 on 1, CD spamming and killing while in dock...yeah right, bad form.
So basically from that story, a cruiser engaged you (if you can call that an enagement), couldn't CD you and then cruised to catch up twice, and then blew you up as you were docking?
Isn't this scenario what the don't cruise to catch up rule was supposed to prevent?
