I ask all pilots to change their route to Freeport 9, Omicron Theta. There is a risk of nomad infestation.
The corsair pilot Liutuks7 docked in Freeport 9 with a full load of nomad brains !
I ordered him to undock as soon as possible without opening his cargo but he did not respond ! He may be actually dead due to the nomads ?!?
To avoid any nomad infestation, we will ask the corsairs and bounty hunters around to use our services from Freeport 5, Omega 41 for a while. The food route to Crete will now start from Omega 41 only.
The quarantine is now started, it may not take more than a day. Our team will try to minimize the damages and annihilate the nomads.
--- Incoming transmission from Trader's Guild Headquarters ---
The Trader's Guild hearing of the possible infestation on Freeport 9 a valuable station on many of our trade runs dispatched the Headquarters to the scene. Upon arrival Trader's Guild Agents Mr.Red and Mr.Black along with two DD hired mercenaries were dispatched into the base via shuttle to avoid spread of the infestation.
Each equipped with hazard suits they swept the hanger bays for the corsair ship. The pilot was found heavily wounded and unconscious in his cockpit. It would seem that one of his transported Nomads had in fact escaped. It's location unknown the remaining were burned and destroyed along with the interior of the ship. A further sweep of the surrounding station discover the escaped nomad who was subsequently destroyed. The two DD mercenaries were payed 500 thousand each for their help after a scan from our on board doctors. Trader's Guild Defense wing pilots are now stationed on the Freeport to further monitor the situation and ensure that it may remain open. The Corsair is now under intensive medical attention though should recover.
*DD*Leon and *DD*Rabbit were the hired assistance in this situation.
Freeport 9 should be considered clear and safe for open trade again.
Greetings Amon Cire,
Your transmission have been received.
My convoy will bring some pharmaceuticals to Freeport 9 and planet Crete to help our medics.
I hope the corsairs will not come in lower number to our stations after that incident. I'll do my best to revalue our services.
