OK, I am now starting to wonder. I have been to a few of the new systems in the beta and have found some stations.. am not finding any thing for sale. Got a train and dont like having it empty. Sure I can blast the crap out of any thing that comes near me but a train is not a fighter and I am starting to get the impression (please correct me if I am wrong). But these new systems seem to be just for fighters and hold nothing for those of us that enjoy hauling freight and mining. If this is the case please let me know and I will stop looking in them. On the other hand, if I just have not gone to the right ones yet or if they are still in the works I would like to know that as well.
Thank you for your time

there are plenty of trade routes out there, and there are plenty of places to mine. im sure someone will post u a few hints, but they should include a spoiler warning at the top of the post if they do.
Winkie ... Most of those systems are yet to come on line. Empty and joined up ...
All but, I believe ** of them. These can I suspect, surprise the the unwary traveller.
Trading can be a dangerous business.

New systems have no trade routes and mine fields so far. Systems that you entered (you mean clan systems, right?) are for factions, and not intended to be part of any routes so that players who are not part of the faction won't frequent faction territory.
May I make a sugestion Igiss, the faction system should have a trade route, within the system, just so that faction can make some quick cash. I will give an example.
Joe Mc.Noe was in the faction La-di-da [Ladida] and he makes it to the clan system thinking he can get his clans fighter. He makes it there to find there is a minute calculation, he only need 500,000 more credits, and his ship is not sturdy enough to take on any missions, no members of his clan are on... what else can he do?
I have found myself in this situation many-a times, just a sugestion, it shouldn't be a lare ammount you get off of the run's just enough to save the day.
That would be nice.. As for trade routes I found a route from New Tokyo to New York, thats no more than 6 jumps, completely unpopulated by NPCs, and I guarantee you a pirate couldn't track you there. Each jump is only about 6-10k distance appart too. And no, I won't give up the route.
im with the opinion of my backpacks got jets it should even be possible to have an nice trade route that dosnt go trough dangerous systems with nomads but you could make the pirate population much higher and maybe you can give them some BS flying around there
