' Wrote:Another faction that mnust be neutral to everyone? I assume you will Q_Q when you get pirated, yes? How bout you make yourselves some enemies. Enemies are just as important to your rp as your friends, and beyond that, just because you want to be neutral with people, doesn't mean they want to be neutral to you. Like the Farmers Alliance and Xeno's for example, there is no way they will treat you as anything but hostile. This is a role play server and there are no factions that don't have any enemies.
You bring up a valid point, but when you're a nobody, and you don't have anything worth taking, why would anyone want to be your enemy? I'm more than willing to go through the motions and perform the rp required to initiate neutrality with all the other factions. I'm sure some will want to disagree, but I built this faction around leverage. An 'I scratch your back, you scratch mine' situation. I'm sure with a little bit of persuasion I can attain neutrality. I have confidence in my negotiation skills.
You are right, this is a roleplay server, but I'd like to disagree on the latter. Roleplay is built upon the rules that real life has set as a basis. Everyone has something they want. If you can get them what they want, why would they want to be hostile to you?
And enemies are not very important in my book. It's all pewpew this, or give me your hard earned cash that. I've put a bit of time into this, and I'll not have that time wasted by tossing away everything I've earned onto someone who doesn't deserve it. Everyone will work for their earnings, one way or another.

It's nice to see the effort you've put into this Nimble, it still needs lots of work though. Since you're still pretty new to this specific server, I'd advise you just use the Freelancer ID for now (do you even have a ship over 3800 cargospace yet?)....fly around and trade and learn who you like/dislike. (Note, you'll probably get pirated even if you are neutral to somebody). Find out where your RP fits in and which trade routes you're most comfortable with and then just adapt the faction until you find what's right. Sort of like what Echo said. Junker ID would also be a good start.....but no Kusari with that one (not without being shot at).
I don't think you'll find the ID you want atm, but maybe your requirements will change with a little exploring?
Nobody has mentioned Interspace Commerce? It doesn't fit all your wants/needs...but they can use larger transports and have a very liberal ID. You could RP T&N as a subsidiary of IC.
Then I'd have to rewrite all the everything. :/
And I don't want them to be based in some sort of mercantile beginning. I want them to have started out as people who earned what they made the hard way. It puts a little depth into the history. I'll probably be forced to roll with the FL ID for now, still thinking it over.
But thanks for the replies, you lot. Also; Much love Ankh <3

Suggestion here, if you want to be "neutral" become a trader ID'ed club or even a smuggler ID'ed club. Dunno if the smuggler ID will change in 4.86 but right now smugglers are allowed more freedom.
Ofcourse your cargo will be restricted.

Pardon Zelot's bitterness, but I agree with him in his message.
If you do work for someone, you are supporting them. Period. If you aren't doing work for anyone... well, besides not making any cash, you are undoubtedly using someone else's tools to make your money (or will have money).
In order for those without money to not want your money, you have to make it worthwhile; while at the same time this means their enemies see that you've done something for their enemy.
It's a cycle. The balancing act is impossible.
On that note, I could see how a "lawful" inter-sirius trading/escort group might fill a niche in Kusari. Though this niche will be slightly closed with the next update (as Kishiro will gain a bit more sway) I think a second "gaijins are good lets open up trade and make money" faction there might be successful.
That isn't your plan, but swinging that way might help.

The balancing act is very possible. I have faith in me, and you should too.
It's very plausible that we'll be based in Kusari for the begginning of our endeavor, but we aren't a kusarian faction.
