COMM ID:Mark Brown, Director of Homeland Security TARGET ID: Hallelujah Haptism SUBJECT:Your Application ENCRYPTION:High PRIORITY:High
Dear Mr Hallelujah Haptism
Thank you for your interest in the Liberty Security Force.
Mr Haptism, your application was rather basic on your skill tree. However you told us you had a bother in the Security force which is wrong.
Hallelujah your application is hearby DECLINED unfortunately we don't think your abilities from a commercial trade are any use to the Liberty Security Force.
However, you are welcome to re-submit an application after three week of this message if any of your accomplishments change we will review it then
Previous Jobs: Computer technician, worked on maintaining Police vessels during spare time.
Law enforcement, Military and/or Para-military History:LPI Officer, few years in service.
All questions below must be answered, in order for your application to be considered.
Have you ever piloted a fighter craft and/or a bomber?
Yes, I have piloted Liberator Light Fighter
Why are you interested in joining the LSF?
Because of little influence of my sister Stephanie who is already an agent. Besides, I like the secrecy and the fact that LSF are the only ones whose system I couldn’t hack, it excites me!
.
Do you have a criminal record, or have been in trouble with the Liberty law? If so, for what reasons?
No
Do you have any skills, competences and/or personality traits that could be useful towards the LSF?
I can maintain smaller ships, but mostly I flew Liberator. Good hacking skills. Deception, looking innocent and pure but the next second I could say? Stab the one who I just became friends with. I’ve been combat trained in hand to hand combat, just give me a knife and let me do all the work.
Tell us about yourself, that wasn't already put on the application so far. (//short bio of the character, minimum 2 paragraphs of 5 lines each)
I’m the youngest kid in my family, mostly acting as a shadow, never being mentioned by them due to disagreements in our way of thinking. Describing myself is a bit tricky, because, one second I may be sweet and nice, and next second, I may be stabbin’ your back. After graduating from high school, I made a run away from home and enlisted in LPI Academy.
The life of a Cop isn’t such bad thing, decent payment, lots of free time and opportunity to play “Cat & Mouse” with the pirates and the likes. The joy of dancin’ around them and watching their desperate attempts at scratchin’ your shields. But fate isn’t always nice and sweet as it seems. During my patrol I met an LSF agent Razor, pretty influential fellow and dangerous! Later my sister got caught up on me and those two convinced me on applying for LSF.
If this application is approved, you will be put in our AIT (Agent in Training) course under supervision of the Department of Homeland Security. At the end of it you will be evaluated and accepted if you're considered suitable for LSF daily operations.
What should an LSF member do (Tasks, RP style, etc)?
Preserve the security of Liberty without exposing themselves too much. Observing all factions that “act” within Liberty borders and other Houses in case they plan to endanger Liberty in any way.
Have you read AND understood the server rules of discovery?
Yes
Then explain why the following rules are important: 3.1: Its a roleplay server, so players are encouraged/required to roleplay first before shooting starts. 3.3: It prevents abuse of “trader pilots” by other players, also in case “trader pilot” tries to escape using silence, “aggressors” are allowed to destroy him/her. 3.4: Docking and re-supplying during the “heat” of the battle is unpleasant for other players, so such action is counted as death. Traders are excluded from this rule for sole purpose of trading. 5.2: Prevents players of rank 29 and below, to abuse their rank for purposes of giving the information to other parties where its inRP or ooRP. If they do not comply with order to leave the “event” they may be destroyed. 5.6 to 5.8:These rules do not exist anymore.
Have you ever been sanctioned or banned for violating a server rule in the last 6 months? please provide links to the threads if so.

COMM ID:Joshua Ashfield, Liberty Navy Reserve TARGET ID:Liberty Security Force Internal Affairs SUBJECT:Transfer Request
Greetings,
I hope that neither the low number of former Navymen serving in the LSF's ranks nor minor clashes between the past administrations force the way of this message right into the trash bin.
I'm currently filling yet another spot in the already high number of reservists awaiting their call to be sent into the meatgrinder that the Gallics have placed upon Bretonia. That if the situation in Rheinland remains stale. However I still feel that I am able to offer my homeland something more than shooting down our enemies in the battlefront, after having learned during my service in the Primary Fleet that the best offensive move is the one that neutralizes the threats even before they come into existance. My service record is attached below.
Service rendered in the Liberty Navy secondary fleet squadron 36th "Flying Ducks", Lt. Commander.
"Mister Ashfield, vhat ein pleasant surprise. It is not often that ve get a member of your... Ever-so-prestigious organization requesting a transfer to the Security Force. I trust zat you've cleared this transfer with your superiors?
Not that it really matters, Ich suppose...
Please report to Baltimore Shipyard, vhere you vill be ferried by Grizzly to an LSF outpost for briefing."
Skills: Tactician, Bomber Pilot, Trained Designated Marksmen before he became a Pilot
Previous Jobs: Secondary Fleet Bomber Pilot
Law enforcement, Military and/or Para-military History: Secondary Fleet Pilot - 35th Bomber Wing
All questions below must be answered, in order for your application to be considered.
Have you ever piloted a fighter craft and/or a bomber?
Yes, as stated above, I was a Bomber Pilot in the 35th Wing
Why are you interested in joining the LSF?
The LSF provides quality, duty and honor to all who are a part of it. Life in the Secondary Fleet, while it is interesting, is not the place I seek. I wish to be a part of something bigger and I better identify myself with the work of the Security Forces
Do you have a criminal record, or have been in trouble with the Liberty law? If so, for what reasons?
No
Do you have any skills, competences and/or personality traits that could be useful towards the LSF?
I consider myself a Tactician and above average Pilot. I also tend to do my duties on time and to the best abilities, like everyone should. I have multiple skills which could be of use that I have acquired throughout my military career which I hone and train on a regular basis, including survival, marksmanship and my personal favorite, stealth operations.
Tell us about yourself, that wasn't already put on the application so far.
I was born on Planet Denver, not far outside the Capitol, where my father worked for an insurance company, my mother was stay-at-home. I did not grow up around the military or the Wars of the past, but I've always felt deeply patriotic to my Nation and wanted to do my part. This is what I told my parents when I was eighteen years old, they weren't understanding of my motivations but supported me nonetheless.
I enlisted in the secondary Fleet and began initial training in the ground forces, which is where I learned my survival and marksmanship skills. I took up every opportunity I had to better myself and perfect my knowledge of how the worlds turned before I applied to become a Pilot with the 35th, where I am currently employed. I considered myself an above average pilot due to countless hours of simulated and live flight.
If this application is approved, you will be put in our AIT (Agent in Training) course under supervision of the Department of Homeland Security. At the end of it you will be evaluated and accepted if you're considered suitable for LSF daily operations.

What should an LSF member do (Tasks, RP style, etc)?
An LSF member should always strive to excel at what they do. Their RP would be more secretive than that of the [LN] for example, and they should always strive to know the most they can. Intelligence is the business and Knowledge the power that LSF operatives hold. They should also, ontop of their duties, ofcourse keep Law and Order.
Have you read AND understood the server rules of discovery?
Yes
Then explain why the following rules are important: 3.1: The opposition needs enough time to respond to any interaction you've begun, no matter if it will be a definite pew or not. 3.3:Self-explanatory really, If they paid the fine, why fine them again? 3.4: If this weren't around, you could run away, dock, regen, and come back to the fight over and over and over again.

All questions below must be answered, in order for your application to be considered.
Have you ever piloted a fighter craft and/or a bomber?
Yes
Why are you interested in joining the LSF?
My father was an honest miner, and traded goods every so often, he showed me the tools of that trade, since I was a little kid and reached the controls of a miner vessel i was assisting him.
Up until pirates came along and demanded money from us. My father tried to comply so we could be left alone but the greed got the best out these pirates. After he paid they blew up his ship and
front of my eyes they destroyed his escape pod, and left me there alone with a damaged ship, stranded. The life support had just minutes left when a LSF agent came by and saved me. On the flight home
I asked him what was he doing, since i didn't know much about their job. He sad that not much he can say but in sort they search and destroy bad guys like those pirates. He didn't needed to say more
for me to know that one day I want to be just like him.
Do you have a criminal record, or have been in trouble with the Liberty law? If so, for what reasons?
No
Do you have any skills, competences and/or personality traits that could be useful towards the LSF?
Fighter pilot skills, reconnaissance skills, map charting skills, knowledge of hidden jump holes, trade routes of criminals, knowledge of hidden systems and bases of criminals and organization hostile to Liberty
Tell us about yourself, that wasn't already put on the application so far. (//short bio of the character, minimum 2 paragraphs of 5 lines each)
Born in 786, my mother died at birth my father was a miner and trader. He raised me to be an honest man and to always abide by the law, as he sad: "If you do everything right, you always sleep in peace."
I was pretty good in the school, my grades where great at the flight simulators I had exceptional scores. I was always interested in the different type on minerals and how they are processed
and developed to materials that the ships and equipment made of. My father told me a lot about distant systems that have rare minerals that can bring a fortune to our family. He sad that one day
he will take me to explore. After school me and my father worked 6 days a week on the mineral field but never left the system. He sad that we need a stronger vessel to explore into distant systems. He showed me
how to shoot with the mining turret, and he sad if i get really good at aiming at the asteroids I can really be good at fighting if the time comes. And I followed his instructions, and happily blew up
asteroid after asteroid. I got really good at it, the business was going great. My father was happy, one day he even sad that: "Son we almost have enough for a bigger and stronger ship and we can explore the depths
of the universe..."
Three day after he sad that his ship, and him was blown up by pirates and I was rescued by an LSF agent. I asked him: "How can I take revenge on those pirates? How can I stop them from doing it to other honest people?"
He didn't take me home, instead he have taken me to a system called Virginia to a training academy. I never been there, nor that i ever heard of it. The drill sergeants welcomed me with a "warm" welcome, never been yelled
at in my life combined than how much these drill sergeants managed to yell. The training was harsh and though, no excuses just perfect execution, repeat until its perfect, than repeat it more. Every day passed I know, that
one day I be in distance systems, serving the Liberty Law, and hunt pirates and criminals like the ones who have taken my fathers life. After the 4 years of service with the Navy, i was given an opportunity to transfer to the
generic (//NPC) LSF for a 2 year assignment. On day my Commanding Officer uploaded a link to my Neural Net with the note:"If you want to work for the real LSF, fill this out."

What should an LSF member do (Tasks, RP style, etc)?
Monitor trade routes for the purpose of upholding trade laws, screen illegal goods, keep trade routes safe from pirates, and criminals. Gather information about criminals, pirates and hostile nations and
hostile organizations. Discover the possible threats in deep space and distant systems.
Have you read AND understood the server rules of discovery?
Yes
Then explain why the following rules are important: 3.1: Ensures that proper RP takes place at the time of the conflict. Not just senseless PvP. 3.3: For the first part it ensures fairness. The second part, if the try to run they have responded with their action and indicated their intent. 3.4: Docking into a base is obviously taking advantage of the game mechanics since the character "cannot land on the base and arrest the other charter" as an example. 5.2: Server rules section 5 have no sub sections. (http://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=2334 ) But section 5 is aiming to protect player with a recruit ID unless they are abusing it. 5.6 to 5.8: See previous answer.
Have you ever been sanctioned or banned for violating a server rule in the last 6 months? please provide links to the threads if so.
Yes - http://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread...64&page=42 - Automatic server ban, still today not sure of the reason but it was at the time of the 4.88.1 update. According to the Administrator I contacted, there is nothing I did wrong, he reccomended to
reinstall the Discovery mod and it worked fine after. This was the first time in my life ever to be banned from an on-line game. And it was due to a technical issue, I found out when I re-installed the game that
in Windows 8 if i install a mod into Program Files(x86) i have to run it as an Administrator" otherwise it wont install properly. I believe this caused the isse. But since it is fixed." >

Yes. Utilized a company-provided CTE-6000 in various combat operations.
Why are you interested in joining the LSF?
There is a disease spreading across Sirius and I believe that it has to do with the decline of Liberty as the leader of the sector. Don't get me wrong, we are still the most highly capable House politically, militarily, culturally, and economically, however our clout has waned especially in the border worlds and independent systems. Forgive me if I am too frank, but work as a Security Contractor was hell. Before I even touched the stars working for my political science degree at Angelino's pizza, pirates were nothing more than a few Frankensteined snubcraft that would flee back into the abyss at the nearest sight of a Liberty Navy battlegroup. Now? They see Liberty Capital Ships as a challenge and every sympathetic buccaneer gunboat in the entire colony rushes after them in some harebrained quest to "Get Glory." "Look at me, I can take down a Dreadnought!"
Lets not even talk about the Omicrons, that place is a death trap even for Bounty Hunters now. The fact is that everyone has been upping the ante while Liberty has become complacent. We still maintain the advantage but if we do not act soon, not for long. I feel that my experience in various walks of life coupled with the additional perspective granted by the Liberty Security Force will allow me to bring to the table new, innovative, ideas that will cripple the growing crime wave and bring order back to the colonies again.
Do you have a criminal record, or have been in trouble with the Liberty law? If so, for what reasons?
Clean as a whistle here in Liberty. Though the Kusarians don't take kindly to foreigners.
Do you have any skills, competences and/or personality traits that could be useful towards the LSF?
I don't play well with others, but I am an expert in propaganda, subterfuge, and analyzing sociopolitical events for their repercussions. I understand how to network and manage large groups of independent freelancer affiliated personnel and motivate them towards a unified goal. I've assisted in the training of other security personnel and have conducted intelligence gathering operations for patrol paths.

Well, I am an avid birdwatcher. Absolute carnivore, steak is simply amazing, especially the stuff that Orbital Spa and Cruise serve you on the Hawai'i, absolutely to die for. Folks are retired, my Father worked as a super for Deep-Space Engineering, Mom's a physical therapist for Cryer. Avid-hunter, manufacture my own custom-builds on firearms, I use antlers in all my decorating. One thing I never understand is why Bretonians think drinking tea will fix everything. Surfing is definitely my go-to tonic for when I am feeling down, though deep-sea diving is something that I am trying to pick up. I guess really, I am just your average adventurous adrenaline junky, if you want my life story I suppose I could dabble-down that path for a bit:
Grew up on Los Angeles, hung out on the coast all day, went to the local University of Santa Monica for a Political Science degree, thought the Professor was a bit draconian in his ideas though, too much influence from Rheinland philosophers. Spent a lot of time after that just traveling around trying to find myself, there is some absolutely beautiful places out here in Sirius. Lot of my old buds ended up getting addicted to cardamine and I realized I had to escape that coast-to-coast crowd. Got a great job in Ageira, learned a lot about small arms and munitions there, moved up towards a nicer part of town, new development in Culver City. My love life? Not exactly the greatest. Every time I find someone it just turns out to be a nightmare dressed like a daydream. Trust me, dating Satan is not fun, 0/10, would not recommend. At least I can turn the bad girls good for a weekend. While working on Detroit, we were hosting a contingency event for Hammer Securities, I was really able to network there, the pay was phenomenal but it involved a lot of travel. I figured hey, I am single, still young, why not?
Turns out, the Omegas are just one big giant pile of blue and everyone there is out to kill you. Social politics is really just aggravated assault on a passive level and with all the old Rheinland Military junk out there in O-13, you got a lot of pirates hiding in the debris powered down waiting to vaporize you. But there is a lighter side of things, like racing through the gas clouds. I'll never forget my first time, engines on full rushing in to this deep blue abyss and suddenly lights everywhere, whole hull shaking, and you can hear your buddies in formation with you cheering over the comms and then it is over. I think I detailed the rest of my experience out there, lots of blood and fire, I thought I was on the edge of space, but the deeper we went into the cloud, the more we upped our patrols, the closer we got to the edge of sanity. I knew order needed to be restored, so here I am.
If this application is approved, you will be put in our AIT (Agent in Training) course under supervision of the Department of Homeland Security. At the end of it you will be evaluated and accepted if you're considered suitable for LSF daily operations.

What should an LSF member do (Tasks, RP style, etc)?
I suppose the stereotype answer is to guard Zone-21, follow the code of conduct, enforce Liberty Law. Conduct yourself in an amiable and friendly authoritative way.
Really though, I'd like to be in the more clandestine part of it all. Screenshot every ship that passes, create a log of everyone. Recruit Freelancer agents for false-flag operations. Ruin Alliances between Liberty's enemies and turn them against each other. All in roleplay and good fun of course.
Have you read AND understood the server rules of discovery?
Yes
Then explain why the following rules are important: 3.1: It is pretty much powergaming. We don't believe in that here. Unless you're a pirate, in which case, 2milOrDai. 3.3: Powergaming again. It is a one-sided form of roleplay. Additionally, combat is an extension of politics, if a trader complies with piracy or a contraband request, the only reason to kill him is to be a PvPWhore. We frown upon that here, unless you're a Phantom, in which case, pewpewpew. 3.4: While being overly aggressive is frowned upon, combat does serve a purpose in roleplay. To attack another faction only to have them continually dock, repair/rearm, and come at you again is just poor sportsmanship and makes people rage. We frown upon that here, unless you're a griefer, in which case, If you're having dock problems, I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems, but re-engaging dockfights ain't one! 5.2: Realistically, it provides a buffer-zone for new members to adjust to the environment and the high learning curve of Discovery. Two, it is preying on a weak and defenseless player. We frown upon that here, unless they attacked you first, in which case, self-defense! 5.6 to 5.8: Weren't these the old rules on re-engagement and fleeing? I think you can safely flee now, but in terms of re-engaging. It would suck if we killed Bin Laden only to have him appear again. By imposing a penalty, it adds a sense of accomplishment and productivity to roleplay. Otherwise, all roleplay engagements would be arbitrary. We would have Liberty Rogues docked at Rochester at Manhatten 24/7 while every defender would just undock from Newark and the bloodbath would continue. I've been on servers like that, we frown upon them here, no exceptions.
