If you dont appreciate the interaction between players then when you get all the credits you could ever need and buy all the ships youll ever want youl just leave anyway.
I've been in that same spot as you... about a month ago. I raged like an idiot, but then I went with the flow and I am doing pretty good atm.
Don't lose hope!

Hi
There are nice pirates out there such as the Alcatraz Rogues, flying under the tag of /_\. If they stop you they'll prolly ask if you have booze on board. Be nice to us and bring always 10 bottles of any alcoholic beverage on board so you will be safe

I was actually the person who pirated you when you were carrying furs today. you were shot and killed because you tried to cruise away 3 times, after being asked to stop.
Now, in all seriousness, there is a problem with toxicity within the Discovery community but I don't think this is it. If you are new player let people know! most people will take the time out and explain stuff to you. Playing as an indie isn't easy, especially if you don't know anyone to play with. PM me your discord details and I'll talk you through some nice trade routes and even help out if you're struggling with credits.
I would say if you can't beat them join them but in all honesty, there isn't much money in pirating, we do it for the RP. I also recommend Kruger as a good starter faction to join, they have their stuff together and there are enough of them online most of the time.
Demanding 10 million from new players or returning players who start with nothing is disgraceful. It discourages new players from having an interest in Discovery. Personally, if I am pirating, I don't usually don't bother players with little money at all. That's my decision, but cmon! If you want to pirate new players, atleast make a reasonable demand!

Firstly, no one here has mentioned a 10mil demand at all, so I have no idea where you pulled that number from.
Secondly, If you are referring to my comment, I didn't actually get a chance to issue a credit demand (which would have been 0 as he wasn't Samura anyway) as they wouldn't stay still long enough to get through the RP of a cargo scan, let alone a credit demand.
