Quiron rubbed his short beard and made a slight nod. "Indeed, I remember those times. The system security was well-organized, every station was runned by us. So much have changed since then..." he spaced out a little.
"I'm not really sure how much you know about the happenings in 74, but everything changed there. After the Omicroner exodus, Freeport XV fell under OSI's supervision, while the shipyard remained in our custody, who decided to stay in Sirius. I can't say much about Sparta or Corinth, haven't been in that cloud for ages."
His look became gloomy and sighed. "As you can see Tobias, the system is divided now, no more legislative bodies, no more law enforcement. Only groups with different approach and claims."
"If you call a same star system as home along with others, it's essential to communicate with the locals when you want to make noticeable changes which affect them as well. And the lack of this kind of communication have led to the current situation, as I see." Quiron observed his conversational partner if he understands him so far. "I assume you know whom am I talking about."
He stood up and walked to the window looking through it with crossed arms. "And now it is completely out of hand. Things happen so fast that I couldn't even follow. Strangers occupied 74, foreign warships are frequent within the perimeters, machines from Gammu, Corsairs, the Order. And I barely see the end of it."
