"Please call me Mio." Akiyama smiled politely. She too disliked being formal. For her, Freeport 11 was a large family that worked hard together.
"No, I don't think we did. I was working on Sparta for the leadership. Didn't talk to many people." Akiyama turned away from that topic quickly. The departure of the Omicroners was a sore point for her.
Akiyama cleared her throat, "We too did not expect the TAZ to take political prisoners. According to a short debrief I had with Parkes, TAZ were looking for an Order spy and were going to interrogate people until they found them. They didn't believe that The Order simply has it's eye on everything. Then they accused both Douglas and Parkes of being the spy."
"I mean, the stupidity of it. The Order would only need one spy. And if they had two they wouldn't be from the same station." Akiyama was getting upset at the incompetent TAZ logic that was employed.
Akiyama calmed herself once again, "We'll take all the help we can get. I've opened up the unused D and F wings of the station to accommodate more people and more equipment. You're free to set up shop there. We've got more than enough food and water with the biodome, but we're low on moral at the moment. Extra water and any sort of distraction would work well."
"Also, I've heard news that John Douglas didn't make it out. He's still on the station." Akiyama whispered, despite the fact that no-one else was in earshot.
