You had to write like one story thing and you had to fly a morph around for rather a long time, documenting your chat on pastebin or something.
It wasn't ridiculously difficult, but it was a pretty good system IMO.

It was also very fun.
To get considered into joining the faction, you needed to earn a number of points.
You could earn these points by roleplaying as a morph ingame, and sending the logs to the recruitment person at that time (King Boo). You'd then be given points based on how well you performed as well as given advice as to what could be improved with your roleplay.
On the mindshare forums, there were also a number of quests that were riddles with varying difficulty. Completing these quests would award you additional points.
If you have accumulated enough points (to show experience with Nomad RP) and roleplay good enough, you got accepted into the faction.
It was a fairly fun system, and I'd honestly like to see it return, not just for recruitment.
