There have been propaganda missions to all core systems, but when all you see in response is "AAAHHH, XENO TERRORISTS!" and "What's an RAB?" and "Lulz, you noob, xeno aren't in New Berlin", and other such drivel from the masses, you tend to not to try that hard in the long run.
And don't get me started with NY. Most gets lost in the massive text-wall that is that system's chat.
As for forum propaganda, it's been done as well. Some very good lines have been put up by several members, be it an old socialist posters from the 50's, small stories of recruits, or the ubiquitous "we want you to join our cause" recruitment messages, they're on here, but again get lost in the melee that is this HUGE forum for discovery. A product of it's own success.
I agree that the faction status page is a bit long, but it is full of information as well. The trouble is getting those who don't know about us to read this information.
Also added is that many members are either on military duty or are busily working on additional content for the 4.85 mod release. I haven't been on in weeks because of it and other things.
And we're kinda picky about who we let in because of our ID being generally a terrorist ID with unlimited ZOI, we have to be careful it doesn't get abused. So we are not the giant group the Outcasts and Corsairs and LN are. NOT to say these groups aren't picky about who they have, but our ID is also not allowed for indies, we dont have 3+ different factions for our selves, and other issues.
It's my belief that with the advent of the next mod version, if everything goes well, a large recruitment drive and several campaigns will then be initiated to again assert the SCRA's role in the Sirius, and Discovery, community.
