Earlier today Commodore Ares lead a wing aboard the Havana consisting of myself, Commander Striatov, Lieutenant Commanders Prutko, Thorvaldsson, and Weise, as well as Lieutenant Gellantra. After running through a quiet Bretonia, we quickly pushed through to Liberty without trouble. Upon entrance we ignored the trifles between petty pirates and pathetic bounty hunters.
After arriving in New York we Took our time to plot. Lieutenant Commander Weise went ahead of us to scout finding two Liberty Navy fighters, I quickly moved in to support his bomber. Whilst I kept them busy, Weise moved with the rest of the squad towards the bulk the the enemy. I took my chance to meet up with them, when two terrorist distracted the fighters, and a gunboat came to their aid.
Meeting the squad at Norfolk, a blood bath had amassed, with our forces downing enemies left, right, front and center. Things however, would soon change. A junker repairship betrayed us and began to supply the enemy, causing the Havana to flee, and Striatov's bombers to become mutilated. Luis and Weise lost their vessels as well. Prutko and I made a run for it, myself escaping first by a distance. When informed Prutko had pursuers on his tail I held position in Colorado to cover his exit if need be.
A Bounty Hunter in a collector of all things engaged the two of us, putting up little resistance his ship was destroyed. Prutko and I safely returned the pods of our fallen comrades back to Omega-52, with our ships in one piece.
After suffering such a beating, my morale was low. I took a small amount of time to rest, but then I figured spreading the word of our cause would be more fitting. I quickly dispatched to Rheinland on my own, telling the people of our ways. Unfortunately halfway through my speech I was interrupted by the Rheinland Military.
Krieger, Stahlmann, and Pippart closed in on my position. I warned them to move back, but Stahlmann engaged, with Krieger refusing to call him off. I quickly defended myself, not taking much time to dispose of the problem. Pippart soon followed, for failing to realize that his sunslayers are best fired with a shield, and when my disruptors are inside my ship.
Krieger ran off in a hurry without much to say, telling Haas to make sure I paid for my "treachery" Soon after, Commodore Ares had arrived, with a Bounty Hunter gunship telling him to stay out of mine, and Haas's affair. Naturally the commodore refused, and we disposed of the gunship. Haas soon after fell to one of my nuclear mines.
Looks like Krieger's in for a surprise with the report that'll appear on his desk tomorrow, and has hopefully learned not to underestimate us in our struggle.
