After our trip to Alpha, We scouted the upper Omega's, hunting for pirates.
Instead, we found a Ryujin heavy transport, bearing Samura identifiers. Not missing the chance to engage one of the pigs that kept my former home in thrall, I eargerly armed my weapons to destroy it - but Comrade Claus kept me from firing, and under control. I still let the captain of the vessel know of my displeasure, and told him to carry a message to the worthless emperor of my former home...
There was more, we shared many words - relevant logs are below.
Later on, after a refill of all ammunition and connsumables, I took a patrol alone into the upper omega's. Upon entering Omega-7, I received a garbled distress signal, shortly before the transport ship sending it was cut off. Assuming it was destroyed, I investigated the last known location, and found a Corsair bomber picking through the wreckage. Seeing me, it said nothing, and opened fire before i could even open comm's with it. With weapons charged, I engaged full engine power, intent to make it pay for the dead it so mercilessly slaughtered.
The pilot knew how to fly, and more then once I had my shields overloaded by an anti-matter cannon graze. But I was determined, and I was angry. And in time, I scattered his wreckage amidst those of his victims. Guncam footage below.
Few hours later, I took another patrol. Sensors again found another Corsair in Omega 7, and tight burst comm's with an IMG miner in the area confirmed it. A Damuman Mercenary was already fighting with it, and when I joined in, it focused entirely on me, making my job easier. In the end, my fighter suffered a collision with it, and the sturdy construction held together - it literally ripped through his already compromised hull, and the shoddy corsair construction wasnt enough to hold together. I wished the Merc a safe flight.
On the return trip to Zvezdny Gorodok, I again ran into another Corsair fighter - I was waery, but focused, and in time, brought the fighter down. My Insurgent docked with no consumables, no ammo, and heavy damage, both from numerous weapon impacts, and the collision. Im told it will be out for a few days.
Guncam footage below.
