Previous Jobs: part time trader pilot, trader's escort (three times with a VHF), student
Qualifications: studied 2 years economics at university (did not finish), decent freighter pilot, frequent fighter training in the simulator, some experience with VHF.
Brief Biography: I was born in Manhattan, only son in the family with Irish roots. My father Carl is working for the governor's office, my grandfather Patrick was a retired LPI officer. I finished high school and began to study economics. That was also my father's wish, he always wanted me to become someone important. I finally realized that studying is not my thing, so I quit.
Reasons for Joining: Flying partime for an independent trader showed me how dangerous the situation in Liberty space is, especially in the New York system. I think that joining the LPI is the right thing to do and is old family tradition, too.
Remarks: My father is mad at me because I quit my studies and I now have to pay him back the money he spent for my studies within three years. That's what I'll do if he wants it that way. That is why I worked nearly full time for that trader during the last months. If I get accepted, I'll probably also have to lend the money for the equipment from my father. I heard that you get a fair pay in the LPI (once you are a regular), but I assume I won't get rich. As long as I haven't fully paid back my debts I probably will need a sideline. I hope you accept this.

Fighter pilot: You follow my fiancee. You are my rival. I brook no rivals. At six o'clock I shall be in Connecticut, alone, with my Sabre. Do you understand?
Battleship commander: Oh, thank you, that's a fighter pilot's proposal. I'm into heavy ordnance, and I have the choice of weapons. If I go, I shall take my battleship. And there shall be no mistake about the ammunition this time.
