Time in a controlled training environment with people actively giving feedback and advice is probably better for the ego than getting rolled in Leeds over and over again, though.

My suggestion would be to hold it in Kansas as it's near both Liberty and Bretonia. It's also away from lanes/house-space and there's no stations/npcs that could be hostile to either faction.
I would have to agree with this. Would be pretty cool. We can both have a Battleship or something like that to act like command and control points as well as repair stations.
I also agree with the RP thing in Kansas. There should be a repair ship there though, if that's what gonna' happen. (It prolly won't, but still.) VHF's don't have that many regens.

Why not make an RP thing out of it? It makes perfect sense that the LN will send instructors to help with training of the BAF seeing the two are such close down allies. LN sponsoring training to the whole I-hate-Gallia arch, now that'd be interesting.
There is nothing wrong with organizing training for your faction(s), just make sure you have atleast one or two members that are aware of what they're doing so you won't be moving backwards.
Conn is more practical because you can kill an allied ship there (what if it eats a double mine, for example? Or the trick being practiced has instakill as its goal, of LFs for example?), you can use OOC for easier explanations of tricks and stuff, and it is a lot easier to reach. Also, your training won't be interrupted.
I'll switch it to Kansas though, if the demand is high enough.
