Guardian Ortiz here, responding to an emergency call from IMG, Thresher Deimos was launched from Java station to assist IMG forces against an +LE+ Battleship, Gunboat, and multiple Outcast fighters and bombers. The battleship and gunboat were destroyed by combined forces, and I personally managed to shoot down one Falcata and one Sabre.
Greets. It's me again. Well, I should say it was kinda hot in Taus, as you can see in other field reports provided by my comrades today. I won't go too deep into explaining the overall situation, only mention that all of it happened because of 2 over confident and unwilling to retreat Outcast Sabre pilots, that decided to call for additional reinforcements... Well, they got em, and they almost got me. I was lucky our EDG answered my distress call quickly enough.
They planted a trap, and I was indeed careless'¦ if it wasn't for Storta's anti-fighter light loadout, and for our guys to react fast enough, I wouldn't be speaking here'¦
It looks like they thought, that coming against Heavy EDG wing in light fighters was a good idea'¦
This is Anthony Haven, Guardian of EDG Enterprise. I would like to show you this. I know, its not much but as you know, better than nothing, am I right, hehe? Okay, enough of this bla bla, time for some cool cam pictures.
There were more targets to kill but they could escape and my boss must have gone to a dinner with his wife and kids, you know? Just a little joke. Do not fire me, boss!
Protector Vityaz Hunt reporting. Few days ago, outcast dreadnought made an attempt to put Java under siege. IMG dispatched a bomber wing, while destroyer Ares under made sniffer captain to believe that we're an easy target and lured him away from Java. Our ship got damaged in the process, but not too... critically.
I'm making this report out of formality, since, I bet, you already were informed about that incident.
This is Anthony Haven, Guardian of EDG Enterprise. i dont know what to say about that, its always the same. Outcasts jumped into Tau 23 and my brothers and me set up an ambush to stop there fleet of "coming together".
We also went to Tau 37 and eliminated another Outcast. My Scanning-Cam was offline so we only got the Elimination-Cam of two guys. But we are sure that you know them as hostiles.
Here's the field report for the last few days. I bet IMG higher-ups already have a complete and detailed information on the outcome of the all-out war that was going on in Taus, but according to our contract, we're obliged to provide a report.
Day one. Two days ago, on 11/07/819, after a brief skirmish in Taus with some sniffers, and we've received the reports of a large outcast fleet gathering at Freeport 10. It was a no-brainer we were going to face a full scale outcast invasion. IMG, Colonial Republic and EDGE rallied forces, and it was decided to conduct a preemptive strike.
It was less successful then expected. Due to clear superiority of Outcast heavy capital ships in open space, we had to withdraw to Tau23 after getting heavy casualties. Although, Outcasts suffered losses too and refused to go on offensive that day.
Day two. Emergency call woke me up. Multiple outcast ships, including capital ones, managed to break into Tau 31 and 23 system. During Search&Destroy mission, EDGE wing eliminated outcast Storta at Tau31 jumpgate. At that time, we got information on the large Maltese fleet movements in Tau 37. Not willing to put Colonial, IMG and EDGE forces under unnecessary risks, we organized a blockade at Tau 37 jumphole.... and they decided to break through.
Their forces were indeed large, and we were preparing for the real hell. And it indeed turned out this way.... for them. Outcast invasion force, while well equipped and large in numbers, was poorly organised. During that battle, total of 9 Ranseur class dreadnoughts have been destroyed, and multiple lesser ships, at the cost of 1 Colonial (or IMG, we do not have in formation on that) Zephyr class carrier, 1 fighter and 2 our bombers. I'm not even sure if Malta has anything left to throw at us in the nearest time, taking in to account their never-ending war with corsairs.
I should specifically note, that Colonial and IMG forces, consisting of multiple battleship-class vessels, dealt main damage to the invading forces, and with this report we're not, by any means, claiming the victory as our own.
Yesterday, a minor skirmish took place at Tau 37 jumphole, where our anti-piracy patrol intercepted an outcast tridente gunship. Enemy vessel destroyed.
Today, so far, we intercepted a junkercarrying cardamine. After a brief talk, he agreed to cooperate and dropped his cargo, which was destroyed afterwards.
Few days ago, we were attacked by the Reaver mercenary company. As far as I know, it's the first registered Reaver Merc. company attempt to attack us in Taus since the Defense contract was signed. Currently, we do not possess enough information to tell who they're working for.
Their bomber wing managed to destroy one of our light gunboats, losing one of their ships in the process. Half an hour after that, being unable to deal significant damage to the destroyer Ares, they backed down.
Later that day, we've almost lost another light gunboat (and, if escape pod would fail, me too) to the outcast gunship, that engaged me right at the Java station. No idea what he was thinking by engaging enemy gunboat almost in it's docks, but our EDG usually have multiple heavy ships staying on high alert. Anthony Haven's destroyer Feronia done a nice job saving my life and ship.
At the end of the day we encountered an unarmored Storta destroyer in Tau 23 system. Since this ship didn't present much of a threat, it was considered to send it back to Alpha in a falling apart state, but still alive state. Unfortunately, due to miscommunication on our side not all our ships ceased fire in the right moment.
We're sorry for unclear for the lack of information on that vessel, currently we're trying to find more detailed guncams on our employee's ships.
