If you're saying "people who practice a lot are better than those who dont" well... yeah. Thats the whole point of practice! It's always been the case, and they've always benefitted over others when they fight them.
Ur talking about the wrong rule
The system and player rule are seperate

People already ARE disadvantaged for practicing less! Thats how ALL games featuring compettitive activity that requires practice, including this one, work! Its like asking why people who play halo occasionally shouldnt be able to noscope headshot every time, just like pros.

I think you meant to quote JayyDee, Im not talking about the wrong rule, I proposed shiploss as an alternative to having to leave the system, which is the rule you were talking about. What I am doing however is going kinda offtopic. Sorry about that.
Ontopic, I think 10 mins is too short, but maybe an hour is good. Who plays for 4 hours in a row anyway?

But this isn't HALO, this is a roleplaying game akin to EVE, and even EVE doesn't kick you in the balls as hard for not playing as much.
And I totally misread the OP...
Re-entering the system should not be worth ship loss on death. Full stop.
' Wrote:So you're not actually worried about the principle? Just the severity? I already said that ship prices would have to be lowered to balance it.
The fact that ship loss on death is considered at all is concerning to me, the severity just makes it worse.
Quote:Your argument sounds more like you're worried about losing your precious things than anything with actual validity.
No, losing ANYTHING is the problem. I don't even HAVE precious things aside from a set of guns I hardly get to use anyway. This isn't a hardcore RP game, it never will be.
Also, Sean, who the hell are you to judge validity? Stop acting like a tool.
' Wrote:Well no-one in power will take it seriously so I dont think you need to get so concerned.
Im not worried about loses stuff its the face of being able to go back ive played EVE for 3 years they didnt ban from sustem for 4 hours eve is realistic
