A small group of Golden Chrysanthemum sisters gathered together in times of great uncertainty and despair, with time Sisters of Light became a large branch of the Golden Chrysanthemum movement. They frown at the attempts to impart the Republic type of government to Kusari, considering it's impossible for it to function efficiently in the Kusarian society with imperial culture of such a long tradition. Although avoiding to state it publicly, Sisters of Light hold an opinion only women can avoid corruption by power, thus women have to be given preferences in obtaining key governmental positions, and only the Empire led by a woman can ensure welfare and prosperity for its citizens. Admitting positive tendencies in alleviating gender based discrimination in the Kusarian society, Sisters of Light treat the recent changes as cursory and affecting only already privileged women.

Relying more on subtlety than direct force, Sisters of Light stand for the imperial government free from influence of foreign Houses and large corporations like Samura and Kishiro. Sisters of Light methods range from behind the scene manipulations to harassment of corporate supply lines, preferring hit and run tactic to a frontal assault. They increase their influence through a wide network of agents working on stations and planetside, planting seeds into the minds of the Kusarian youth and using cardamine leverage to exercise a certain amount of control over different parties.
