Subject: High Pirate Activity at Manhattan
I have been running patrols with the Liberty Navy every night. We have been constantly attacked by pirates in the New York system. With very few lawfuls around we have been getting massacred by pirates. Most recently Silver.Fang and another pirate wiped out me and LN-Ryan.Atlas. Earlier was wiped out by Azinerio while on patrol with LNS-Chicago. With the high bounty on LN and LPI ships the pirate situation in Liberty is out of control. Smuggling is being conducted without any regard for law and pirates are attacking all lawfuls within sight. The situation is quickly becoming EXTREMELY SERIOUS.
First patrol this evening, did a full loop of the New York and California systems with Officer Larry Giulliani (LPI-Larry.Giulliani[O]). No incidents of any note, save for an unruly civilian pilot who opened fire on both myself and officer Giulliani. After repeated warnings were ignored the pilot of the vessel 'Breda' was detained by myself and officer Giulliani. Analysis of the pilot showed a fairly heroic blood alcohol level - a night in the tank should do him good.
Rookie Officer Thaddeus P. Hoffmann, signing off.
Coffee dispenser broke down again.
My contract states I have the right of a properly installed and functioning coffee dispenser in my Liberator.
This is the third time already!
Please have the mechanics take a look at it asap.
It's impossible to work like this.
ID: Quartermaster Aryn Current Location: Manhattan, LPI Headquarters Priority:Normal Subject: Mundane work John yawns, without realising the comms are on. He goes through some of the huge paperload towers on his desk and sees a recently printed one.
-Ah, Giulliani. He coughs.
- Thank you for reporting this in, officer. I do appreciate the feedback for the new brand of coffee machines. Guess they placed a faulty one in your vessel. Rest assured it will be replaced with one of the old ones X-1, like the good old times, right? I'm fairly sure we have some still operational on stock. Somewhere. Anyway, I'll get to that when I have a spare second, shouldn't take more than 5 business days. Feel free to use any coffee machine on our stations.
As for the rest of the reports, I would like to thank all of our officers and recruits for the hard work done. Keep it going.
Aryn out.
Stops on your patrol/trade route: LD-14 in Leeds and Battleship... Whitefield?... in Minnesota, and all the usual stops in between, particularily the fun ones in Leeds involving Gallic Battleships.
Brief report/outline of your patrol: Good evening, High Command and all of my wonderful friends in Human Resources and Accounting, and rather angry greetings from your very own local representative from Liberty'sFinest in Leeds: Officer Elliot Kerr. I'm hoping that this comms message gets to you soon!
I'd just like to kindly inform you that I've done twenty of these over the last few weeks, HR. Twenty. That's fourty flights through the front lines of the Gallic - Bretonian war, and I'm pretty sure that your damn loads of Boron are not that crucial to the war effort. If I didn't know better I'd swear that you were trying to get rid of me. Even duty on the Omega-7 Sunbucks kiosk is better than this.
Short version: Please do go find someone else for your suicide missions; could I please be reassigned to patrol duty again? Thanks.
Alright, this is Rookie Hoffmann, reporting in from Manhattan. Just pulled over a Navy vessel (vessel name: RAMA-Prometheus) armed with Rheinland Cerberus Gunboat turrets. I know Rheinland tech is illegal, not sure what the protocol is for Liberty vessels armed with these things.
I attempted to fine him but he claimed he "didn't have the credits". A likely tale, but I'm not really able to coerce a gunboat with my Liberator. I'm leaving it for you people who get paid more than me to decide whether or not this goes onto the fines list.

Latest Patrol Report
Ran my patrol through New York and encountered a outcast call sign "Trouble'. After seeing him attack civilians I engaged with LN-Michael Morse. He fled to the Badlands were i disengaged pursuit. I got a report later on that a bounty hunter ended this threat. Patrolled through Pennsylvania and encountered a ship call sign "Bloody Mary' that had illegal Rhineland weaponry. After repeated warnings without response i was forced to open fire and i destroyed this vessel. I have also encountered many ships with police ids but who are not lawfuls stopping ships sometimes without cause and trying to levy fines. I request clarification on how to handle these ships.
I also have gotten a report that Sunbucks is introducing a new Triple Chocolate and Sprinkles Glazed Donut. Sounds like the perfect cop food. You can be sure ill be first in line to try these!

This is Rookie Hoffmann, once again. And I am writing this report from my lifepod. Somewhere near Niverton Base in Pennsylvania. The fight is still raging on a few kilometres from me. Guess I'll start from a the beginning.
Officer Joe Giulliani was training me in the finer points of mining for profit when the call came in that RNC vessels had entered New York. I headed to the incident only to find the battle over and Swat Officer M. Rivers was taking his union-approved coffee break. We were then asked by a Navy officer to escort a Breton battleship out of the system which myself and officer Rivers proceeded to do. En Route to the California system we encountered an Outcast gunship which officer Rivers engaged. he ordered me to continue escorting the Bret out of Liberty, which I continued to do all the way up to California Minor. At which point Officer Rivers ordered me to return. I got as far as West Point when he informed me that there were reports of pirate activity in Pennsylvania. I headed to the jumpgate and encountered an Outcast bomber attempting to prey on civilians. I engaged it immediately, and did a fair amount of damage before officer Rivers arrived and ended the fight. We continued onto Penn where we found the Pirates engaging a Bounty Hunter? vessel near Bethlehem. A Liberty Rogue armoured transport was destroyed in the ensuing melee and we continued to engage the surviving vessel, now with the aid of an LPI-Recon vessel. A LR bomber soon joined the fray we continued to battle. The battle went on for an obscene amount of time, and we were eventually dragged into the Appalachian asteroid field where every would-be officer and navy pilot joined the fray, making things slightly chaotic (nb - would be nice if they all didn't cue up, they just lined up and added to the pirates' kill count). Near Niverton base I suffered critical damage and was forced to eject. And that's where I am now, just floating along. Hoping someone picks me up before long. Here's the single cam shot I could make during the battle.

Ran a patrol through New York today and everything was fairly quite at first. I received a request to escort a DSE ship to California. As i was traveling through NY to Cali jg trade lane encountered outcast pirate Paradise.Bomber i fought this pirate until my escort was clear then broke contact due to the superiority of pirate ship who then bugged out to the badlands. Later encountered Outcast Battleship call sign Monty while patrolling the Texas System with my SWAT Havoc. After locating this threat a combined task force was formed including LNS-Avatar, LN-Michael-Morse, LN Scout-001, myself and several freelancers. We engaged this craft at the Texas jump gate and within minutes we were able to destroy this threat without any friendly causalities.

Ran a patrol with Liberty Navy today. Encountered a Zoner Juggernaut call sign PanzerFaust750 in Penn. A combined task force was formed to remove this threat with me and several LN vessels. After negotiations this ship was escorted out to the Kepler system. Liberty Navy informed me this was the third incursion by this ship into liberty. They advised a shoot to kill order if this vessel reenters liberty. The remainder of my patrol was quiet.
