"I am Captain Nitta Shoni of the newly established Kusari Naval Intelligence Division. Ours is a relatively new Division established by the Kusari Naval Forces in regards to intelligence affairs, following critical changes among the forces of the republic of Kusari. I hope we can build and maintain a cooperative with your and other Rheinland agencies, in the same way as the KNF has nurtured.

It would be nice if it was a simple introduction message, but there are some important matters that make me address the BDM today.

First, is a very important notice regarding the status of the former intelligence agency Kempeitai. During the course of the month of January, there has been evidence that high ranking staff from the Agency, as well as a majority of its units, staged a defection from the Republican to the imperial movement, that has entrenched itself in the Kyushu borders around the same time. After several investigations made by the Naval Forces and the Government, the Kempeitai has been or will be stripped of it's State Agency status, and outlawed as a rebel movement.

It is likely that in the confusion, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has failed to notify our neighbours regarding this situation, and there might be some members of the Agency that might try to pass as representatives of the Republic in your eyes.

Authorized agents and operations units have been integrated to our Kusari Naval Forces Intelligence Division, and will present Naval Forces transponders and credentials when dealing with our Rheinland neighbours."

Shoni makes a pause, verifying some files to make sure nothing was amiss.

"A second topic that specifically concerns the BDM is the recent detention of an agent of the Rheinland intelligence services, callsign Eiszeit, by the KNF and KNI forces. Said agent was encountered in a designated restricted sector, and was neutralized and captured when he failed to comply with KNF directives. More details about this case will be sent soon in another message.

Medical diagnostics indicate that he's in good health, although somewhat confused ever since the Naval Forces encountered him. Initial observations indicated that he was not following any set purpose, and our interrogation seems to point to the same conclusion.

Either your training at counter-interrogation has achieve stellar results, or this Eiszeit is truly clueless as to why he was there, and to why he shouldn't be there.

We await your confirmation of reception of this report, so that we may proceed to the delivery of said agent to your custody.

During the time of the previous actions, two unknown vessels entered the area of operations as well. They remained after the Blood Dragons retreated, so we turned our attentions to them and their violations of restricted space.

One was a [Redacted]of name [Redacted] , pilot of a Sutinga, and seemingly a capable pilot, since the KNF was unable to apprehend him when the occasion called for it. While it displayed no treasonous intentions, it should be marked under persons of interest, and interviewed/questioned next time the opportunity to meet him appears.

The second vessel was a Rheinland Wraith, callsign Eiszeit, Rheinland intelligence allegiance. It was mostly evasive regarding his intentions in the restricted sector, and acted with contempt towards the law forces. He was neutralized by me and captured by the Shirayuki, to be interrogated and eventually deported.

Indeed the Kempeitai affair came as a shock for all tiers of the Kusari state, and the Naval Forces, in collaboration with the KNI, are doing the best it can be done to minimize the dangers to the well-being of Kusari and those that travel and have business within it.

Currently our intel and latest encounters indicate that their rebellion is geographically limited to the Kyushu system and Tau borders, and should not directly affect any Rheinland in any area it currently operates. The level of security also seems enough to assure the safety of any civilian traffic heading to and from the Kusari capital from the Regular Rheinland routes. I have been in contact with KNF high command to look for the possibility of a strategy meeting with us and the BDM envoys in Honshu, where common guidelines regarding border security, military cooperation in the outer regions, and intel synchronization matters can be discussed. They seem interested in the idea.

I would like to ask you if the BDM would be inclined to accept an invitation for a meeting in the Honshu system, either on this evening, or tomorrow afternoon. We must assume, that these munitions have already reached the blackmarket in Rheinland since quite a while now. It is likely that Kusari is also affected. The imagination that radical groups, such as the Red Hessians or the Blood Dragons, could have access to such equipment and turn it against us, is worrying. We do not speak about light arms, we already speak of alien hardware and weapons of mass destruction, manufactured by The Order, according to statements of The Core and the report of Oberagent Loraine. After a long day, I finally am able to write my report on these...new weapons. I can't tell fully what they are, what they do or how much have been made however I can say, these things are...destructive to say the least *Heavy coughing is heard* between last night and today, I've been commended to bed rest by medical. I will say...████, █████, all that stuff does not make sense to me anymore I guess. *another heavy set of coughing* New weapons seem to have nearly passed me today, thankfully the RFP caught this junker who was moving weapons classed on the scale of Alpha-class WMoD's as you can see below in logs and details.
