Born in 794 A.S. in New Tokyo into the Kurokawa family. Airi Kurokawa was a normal girl that was raised in one of the largest cities on the planet, New Osaka. Airi was always a people's person, a trusting and loyal friend, but an introvert at heart. However, she always seemed to struggle to perform well due to motivational issues and remained more passive during childhood. As noted by her psychiatrist, perfectionism was deeply rooted inside her. Despite this, she was always social and that later grew into an interest in people more universally, which led to a great interest in criminology and a motivational perspective that she would become someone who would bring justice and protect the people later in her life.
Finishing school and exams that would later prove just enough to go towards the direction she wanted, Kurokawa successfully enrolled into a university majoring Criminology and passed the entrance exams. She spent the next years of her life studying, which, in traditional Kusarian universities, left very little free time that could've been used to let her expand as a person. The spare time she had available (from vacations or when timetables weren't very time-consuming), she spent volunteering at a pet veterinarian clinic that worked in her city, and the last two years assisting the local district police headquarters as an intern.
Having finished university, Airi seeked an occupation that would allow her to assist the people and uphold the law, but merely working at a police station wasn't enough. She had already decided years ago to aim for a career path that would go as far as reaching the Ministry of Defence, successfully finding a job that had great career opportunities in theory. However, as a few years went by, it was clear that things weren't going to change for the better any time soon. Airi had faced the Kusarian social stigma of an unmarried woman focusing on a career path instead of focusing on family, and impressing anyone enough to climb ranks was too difficult in the end.
With the aid of some recruitment posters she hadn't noticed before, Kurokawa promptly started considering doing something spaceborne instead of staying on the planet and enlisted into the Kusari Naval Forces. She received training in fighter combat and reconnaissance, with the intent of being put into a Republican scouting squadron. However, the Kempeitai Agency noticed her performance and motivations and found her suitable for a field agent role. Kurokawa received an offer of transfer to Kempeitai, to which she agreed.
Airi Kurokawa remained on Tokyo when Kempeitai decided to go rogue and turned herself in as soon as the incident was reported. She responded negatively to signs of supporting the Exiles in her interrogation. Her previous expertise and accomplishments in Kempeitai were noted, and Kurokawa was invited to join the Naval Forces substitute organization - Kusari Naval Intelligence.
The agent participated in numerous operations - mainly interrogating captured personnel and investigating various incidents. The agent was selected to participate in Operation "Kumo no Ami" during the time of crisis. The agent went into the jump hole with the rest of the expeditionary forces, but has not returned until the jump hole had destabilised and closed. The agent was not heard from again and is considered MIA.

Little is known of Karasuma life before reaching high school. Some evidence indicate that he hails from some remote area of Planet Kyushu, and had extensive experience in field activities before enlisting into any organization of the House of Kusari.
Old Kempeitai records show that the agent was deployed in several operations in the Taus and Bretonia during the war in the Tau systems. Proficient in light vessels on scouting and interception roles.
Integrated into Kempeitai Section Nine on 821A.S. Participated in several policing operations within Kusari, as well in internal affairs operations and special assignments of the Section Nine. (Records Data Retrieved)
Was continuously active during 822 and 823, where it was assigned to an operation that coincided with the Imperial Kyushu Invasion of 823A.S. Faced with the choice of attacking KSP patrols, or defecting from the Imperialist led Kempeitai forces, the agent escaped to Republican held territory, where it surrendered to the KNF.
After extensive interrogation, Karasuma was integrated into the new Kusari Naval Intelligence Division, where it serves to this day as a seasoned field agent.

Short Biography:
Born in Honshu to the Ootomo household, a daughter of an old noble family of the system. From an young age she was imbued with the family spirit to dedicate her life to the protection and well-being of Kusari. During her childhood she developed a whimsical attitude, struck as somewhat odd amongst the upper society she was integrated in.
During the later years of formal eduction she transferred from an all girls school to a mixed class school on the main urban area of Planet Honshu. Unsurprisingly, the experience accentuated her personality, and gave her a tomboyish vibe to her manner of speech and clothing. She became a fan of historical dramas.
At the advise of her father Minato Ootomo, a high ranking officer in the KNF, she enrolled in the Naval Forces Academy for Higher Education. She took a major in Electronic and Information Analysis, and graduated with honours in her class.
Her work as an analyst caught the attention of the Kempeitai, who recruited her for their services, much to the disconent of her father.
The war in the Tau systems was raging in this period. When word of the republican coup had been performed at the capital, the head of the Ootomo family pledged their allegiance to the Republic, believing that loyalty to the land and the people held higher than the loyalty to a throne and a man.
Maya Ootomo heeded the decision of her family, and took the duty to protect the House of Kusari and its newly founded Republic to heart.
Her zealous sense of duty put her at odds with more conservative sections of the Kempeitai, and a sense of mutual distrust grew between Maya and the Agency she worked for. As the time that the Kempeitai decided to defect to the Imperial side approached, in 823A.S., Maya was gradually removed from positions she could have used to interfered with the Agency plans, and was to be sent to Rheinland when the Invasion of Kyushu broke out.
Imprisoned by the Tokkeitai section of the KNF, and submitted to interrogation to determine her involvement in the plot, Maya thought that her chance to serve the House had ended with the disgrace of the Kempeitai. However, Minato Ootomo, now a retired Naval Forces officer, convinced her that there was still a place for her in the Naval Forces. Maya was sent to incorporate the new Kusari Naval Intelligence Division created by the Naval Forces, to replace the Kempeitai and hunt down the forces that seek to overthrow the Republic of Kusari.

Little known about her childhood, only that she was born on planet New Tokyo. She grew up in an orphanage at the church and after that joined naval forces academy.
In age of 19 she joined regular forces and began her career.
During the bretonia war she was transfered to tokkeitati division and rapidly gained promotions for her skillful tactic of disguising and luring enemy forces into a trap.
She is cold blooded, always calculating her chances to win before attacking.
She cannot accept defeat but understands that her life is more valuable than victory and can run from battle when situation becoming very grim for her.
With the change of leadership she was transfered to south fleet and received under her command new battlecruiser. Unfortunately she is frequently missing on the bridge due to her other tasks on liberty border. She is known for her good ambush tactics and when on the bridge of her ship, she utilizes all of its strengths.
After unsuccessful missions on the Liberty border she returned to see her house tormented by the civil war. Inadequate high command and employed tactics left her unsatisfied with the current situation. Not only that, but her mentor went missing in the omicrons leaving her alone with the decisions, agree with the current situation or change something.
She decided that it is a time to change, leave naval forces duty and focus on intelligence gathering. Perhaps with the up to date infromation, Naval Forces HC will be more aggresive towards enemies of Kusari.

Following the aforementioned investigation ordered by [DATA EXPUNGED], Second Trust Circle, we could confirm Commander Sanada indeed does belong to the most influential House Sanada; one of the Imperial hundred (NB: The Hundred noble Houses claiming close blood ties with the Imperial House) [SEE APPENDIX A FOR LINEAGE DETAILS].
It appears Sanada left her new founded couple using a falsified ID (ID presumably falsified by a certain Kiyowara Kyoko, infamous in Kiba district for her hacking activities [SEE APPENDIX B FOR DETAILS]); an action that allowed her to apply to Sasebo Naval Forces academy and be sent to Seto (NB: Leeds) system. By the end of the war, the Commander was considered as a war veteran by her peers, even if it transpires from the reports of that time Sanada was already displaying a behavior unfit for an officer of her rank.

Ability tests have revealed a great intelligence and capability for adaptation. Psychologically, Sanada Junko can be seen as fragile. She projects an aura of recklessness and confidence to conceal her inadequacies, which are aplenty.
Psychic cracks appear to be mainly caused by her relationship with her father. She was expected to conform to a role she eventually rejected, leading to her eviction from House Sanada. Most likely since her youth, Sanada Junko developed an obsession with proving her worth, as to finally gain her father's recognition.
Sanada Junko appears to be quite afraid of House Sanada's moves involving her, considering herself as being 'watched' by her father (NB: Sanada Chozaburo; See [SEE APPENDIX B FOR DETAILS]), no matter how unlikely this may sound. This sentiment of persecution probably explains her desire to leave House Kusari.
