Name: Volgograd Ordinance Infocard: As the Coalition waged it's war throughout Sirius they realized that employing House-crafted equipment was not sustainable in the long-run. Engineers working under the Coalition's command designed and tested a variety of prototypes until they settled on a selection of Light Arms and Powered Armor that was found to be easier to manufacture and highly reliable in adverse conditions. However the weapons and armour were found to be slightly heavier than House-made arms such as Detroit Munition's. Still there are those in the Black Market who seek to cater to revolutionary and terrorist movements across Sirius found the Coalition's war materials to be popular amongst both groups in addition to House Intelligence Agencies who are always seeking an edge over their enemies.

- Dresden, Vogtland Base [justification: The Red Hessians are the Coalition's closer allies and would see these as useful in their efforts to overthrow the Federal Republic, the short route is not without it's dangers with Corsairs and even the Rheinlandic Lawfuls seeking to choke the trade of illegal weapons & armour and thus weaken their foes. ]
- New Berlin, Kaiserslautern Depot [ Justification: Similar to above the LWB wouldn't turn down another source of war material if they find themselves unable to 'liberate' a shipment, being in the heart of the Rheinland Federal Republic poses several risks from both Law Enforcement and perhaps even the Unioners who are attempting to cozy up with the Corsairs according to Lore.]
- Sigma-13, Newport Station [Justification: Eventually these may find their way to 'other' hands, Freelance traders seeking to find new markets may try to sell them to various pirates, mercenaries and even Paramilitary forces in order to earn some Credits. - Tau-37 Freeport 10 [Justification: Even folks living acouple systems away from a warzone like to buy weaponry, makes em feel safe and comfy and a Freeport is a common place for such a shady deal to go down, with Gallia and all the other Tau folks nearby the need for protection just got a lot stronger. - An Order Base (To be decided after Peace-Treaty Signing) [Justification: The hatchet is being buried, both sides want to stop both the Core and the Nomadic threat, while the Order has it's own munition sometimes varied equipment can be a blessing due to a larger amount of weaponry in the armoury that can put down both Nomads and Core personnel alike or power armour if conventional body armour simply won't cut it.. If they succeed or not would depend on RP done by both sides. Good for when they want to 'dispose' of the cargo after confiscation from a smuggler.]
Better, but I'd like to see some deeper routes even. How about Freeport 2 in Bering, Ames Research in Kepler, Monte Carlo Freeport in Provence, and I'd still like to see some option in Kusari. Is the Coalition really on poor terms with every Kusari lawful and unlawful group? And what about the Maqui in Gallia?
Kusari frankly is a dead-zone for us, absolutely EVERYTHING hates us (mostly due to the major xenophobic RP alot of folks play there like the Hogosha or the culture). There are no relations with the Maquis in Gallia atm due to a lack of official faction (Alvin tried but IRPly found their methods too 'extreme' due to attacking the civies at the time). Council are neutral at best but unlikely to really trade unless we have something they REALLY want.
As for FP2, it is possible I suppose but it's also very dangerous due to dangers from Unioners (who don't like us anymore), RM/RFP/BDM & LN/LPI/LSF so it'd be a Moderate-high risk area to ship to. Ames is a bit more interesting due to the heavy Xeno presence nearby along with the lawfuls that patrol the region . I also suspect the Rogues/Hackers wouldn't take kindly to folks encroaching on their Black Market and would try to stop it. *shrug*
To make it short: The Zoner bases are possible yep, we got nothing friendly in Gallia except for POSSIBLY a Neutral Council and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in Kusari due to the mentality the House has against outsiders.
Anyways that's all we can really think of that would be plausible (I'd put Mollys in but due to EXTREME proximity it just wouldn't be worth it for either side.).
Updated with Order Sellpoint and added Ames/FP2 as possible Sell Points. That is literally all I can do with it until either more RP is done with factions or there is a major shift in the regions that require a re-working.
Hope this helps out, I'm going to sleep now before I start going insane.

Definitly, well at some point we actually had a Passive Neutral diplomacy with Blood Dragons, but that was long ago, probably needs a refreshing of RP.
Speaking of which, there could be done something in Taus aswell because of IMG and now CR even, somewhere in Coronado.

EDIT: Also you forgot about Mollys, maybe Molly base in newcastle could also have a sell point?
Looking at APM Advanced Hardware and some of the sellpoints you added I thought they were a bit strange (i.e OC and Coalition buying stuff that their enemies produce?). Though don't get me wrong I think it's perfectly acceptable that there are some unlawful sell points, however I think this calls for the commodity to be split into both a lawful and unlawful commodity. So I had a brainwave.
I think it'd be a good idea to split up Advanced Hardware a bit more into specific cargo. This will create many more oppertunities for roleplay for both Core and other factions, as well as hopefully creating activity. I was inspired by Peregrine's post and so I thought of a bunch of other commodities that could be exported from Core bases. Pre-emptively though, it'd be good to delete APM Advanced Hardware then introduce these commodities. And in the case of AP-VROOMs it'd be good if you could remove the buy/sell points for Military Vehicles from Alabama Shipyard please.
Quote:AP Manufacturing Research Packages are an assortment of rare research materials and artefacts sourced from alien origins within the Edge Worlds, most likely Nomadic and Gammu AI in nature. AP-R.PACKs is exported along with instructions for precise maintenance, handling and use. However The Core and APM greatly encourage buyers to experiment with these packages and create their own goods from them. The Core has gone through meticulous effort to obtain these goods, and as such they are highly sought after by Military and scientific groups alike.

Quote:AP Manufacturing Armaments contained highly advanced military-grade weapons, equipment and augumentations that far outmatch normal Sirian arms employed by your average House Military. By reverse engineering alien weaponry, The Core has been able to re-create their alien discoveries and turn them into weapons, alternate power sources and equipment that can be employed by roles such as infantry or security, or can be adapted into vehicular and aerial weaponry. Whilst House governments publically denounce research into alien technologies, Sirius is constantly rife with internal and external conflicts. And thus, The Core always has the opportunity to profit from this.

Quote:AP Manufacturing Augmentations are a collection of consumer-grade cybernetic implants and biomechanical upgrades for the human body. Individuals may purchase one of these packs from their local pharmacies or other medical branches. Via a long medical procedure an individual can be ‘upgraded’. The slogan, as coined by AP Manufacturing and The Core, states: "You venture into the hospital as a mere human. You exit as a superhuman". The so-called 'superhuman' campaign has been at the front of marketing strategy for AP-AUGs. However protestors with more conservative attitudes, such as the Gaians, see AP-AUGs as an affront to nature and the desecration of the human body.

Quote:AP Manufacturing V.R.O.O.Ms (Vehicular Robots Optimized for Obliteration and Movement) are a revolutionary new product on the military market. Based on traditional Military Vehicles, VROOMs are large, mechanized, and bipedal heavily armoured walkers. With their advanced array of ballistics, lasers as well as EMP shielding a VROOM is guaranteed to dominate the battlefield. Furthermore VROOMs are also able to transform into motorized vehicles and back to robot form at will. The downside of a VROOM is that their large size makes it hard to fit into the cargo hold of a ship, meaning cargo space must be sacrificed in order for the adequate placement of a VROOM. VROOMs also require regular checks by AP Manufacturing personnel, to ensure that and their mysterious power source functions properly.

Quote:AP Manufacturing Armour Plates are carefully constructed using sheets of Iridium mined from Planet Nauru by The Core. Refined and very dense sheets of Iridium are layered over each other, and each plate locks with the other within microscopic metallic locks located at the edge of each plate. AP-PLATEs are extremely hard and can withstand heavy impacts as well as fire from enemy ships with relative ease. The anti-corrosive properties of AP-PLATEs also make them ideal choices for hull plating when designing ships with extra defences to radiation. AP-PLATEs are the perfect armour solution for the Edge Worlds and have become a staple in ships built by AP Manufacturing, such as the AP-Line. AP-PLATEs are also used by other ship builders throughout Sirius. And using a certain recipe, AP-PLATEs can also be used as a compontent of anti-matter weaponry.

Quote:Apparently created by a company known by ViperCorp on the black market, Viper Munitions are the latest craze to flood the Sirius criminal underworld. Although sourced from alien technology, these munitions are only slightly more powerful than standard Sirian arms. Nonetheless, it has not stopped unlawful groups pursuing them and paying highly for their impressive power. Police factions speculate that the origin of these Munitions is somewhere within the Edge Worlds, perhaps even going as far to blame The Order. Conspiracy theorists however believe AP Manufacturing may be directly involved. These allegations are denied and The Core has committed itself to finding the exact whereabouts of ViperCorp. It is currently speculated that quasi-legal groups may at least have a hand in the flow of these goods.
These can be treated as contraband by everyone except unlawfuls, quasi-lawfuls and Core pretty much. So Contraband prices pls.

P'much, rather than having APM Advanced Hardware as a single, poorly explained, cramped commodity I thought it'd be better to split it up to encourage roleplay and route variation. I also think AP-AUGs will be cool because although NPCs do have some physical implants and the like, we don't actually have any commodities to represent this. Hopefully it will also create ethical dilemmas with the Sirian populace too.
Viper Munitions also are The Core/APM's foray into the unlawful market, whilst retaining their anominity (perfect for an immoral no-questions-asked faction right?). Through RP and interactions with quasi-lawful factions (and maybe even unlawfuls if we ever undo some rephacks), we look forward to setting up some good routes and creating some activity via Viper. This also means there can be commodities going to lawful bases with logic in mind, as well as commodities going to unlawful bases with logic in mind.
Thanks for reading, I hope these get implemented c:

I saw the thread and it didn't really appeal to the Coalition faction, but some of those other options may appeal to the others around Sirius.
As for you Lyth.
I don't know why the Coalition would import Viper's stuff, IRPly we make our own weaponry and try not to import too many House weapons/armour except for reverse-engineering purposes. We would be highly suspicious as to the origin of these weapons yes and perhaps take acouple samples to analyze, however we wouldn't really buy them in bulk. :S
Otherwise your commods look awesome and the pictures amazing. (smoke)
The Order requests an update to the Kemwer munitions in respond to RP developments on line of this contraband item.
Liberty & Surroundings
- Rochester base, NY (Junkers, black market)
- Beamount base, Texas (junkers, black market)
- Outpost Hesperia, California (Hellfire Legion, new client)
- Sabah Shipyard, Coronado (Colonial Remnant, another client)
- Prices on Buffalo, NY are way off, is that intended? This base is completely useless to trade with that way.
Gallia
- Beaumont base, Il-De-France (Brigands, black market)
- Avon hideout, Il-De-France (Unione Corse, black market)
- Monaco Base, Provence (Unione Corse, black market)
Omegas
- Zhukowski station, Omega 52 (SCRA, recently signed peace with Order)
- Gran Canaria, Omega 49 (Zoners, the planet should remain in constant fear of invading force and arm appropriately)
Sigmas
- Kurile, Sigma 17 - GMG docking satellite - given it is freighter only it could get some rise in profitability.
- Newport, Sigma 13 (Freelancer, black market)
On top of that, capital planet of each house should get an extra profit bonus to reward house authorities in acquiring that cargo from smugglers, or whoever manages to sneak past and land bunch of Kemwer planet-side without being spotted. Kemwer should also receive slightly more expensive resale point at Meshkenet station in Omicron Zeta.
Proposal:
We need a complete rework for every Passenger/Marine/Royal Marine/Refugee/etc. commodities which logically should fit freighter and transport Giving these commodities. 4x price and 4x taken cargo space would solve it.
Why:
There is actual difference between 10 people and 10 cubics of e.g. Kyushu rice; the former taking way more place than the latter.
Notes:
It would still be as profitable as shipping items in their current form - just removing the bothersome quantity/ship size incosistence of passanger commodity from Discovery.
Affected commodities:
- Marines
- Royal Marines
- Passengers
- Refugees
- Fugitives
- Casualities
- VIP
- Pilots
- the ones I might have forgotten
