Big Trouble In Little China, because anyone who has ever seen this movie will know; Lo Pan is the best bad guy ever made. And if he was in LOTR (LOTR sucked - Books ftw!) the movie would be about 5 minutes long with him killing everyone.*

Muchos respect to everyone who said Blade Runner :0)
However... most of my own choices I don't think have been posted here already:
Genres (in rough order of preference): Film Noir-esque / Thriller:
Leon - Jean Reno immortalised, still Natalie Portman's best performance
Usual Suspects - Who is Keyser Soze?! Brilliantly written
Memento - Another well written whodunnit
and Blade Runner - Naturally :0)
Action:
The Matrix (1) - The lobby scene ftw
Hard Boiled - "Ballet of violence", John Woo's best work
Die Hard (1) - "Welcome to the party, pal!"
Saving Private Ryan - Horribly grim, realistic and moving, superb filming
Martial Arts
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon - Truly beautiful
Yojimbo - Akira Kurosawa, best writer/director ever, Toshiro Mifune is flawless
Fong Sai Yuk (2) - Just for the blindfolded sword battle
Comedy
Wayne's World (1 & 2) - Excellent!
Shaun of the Dead - Best of British comedy
Anchorman - Ridiculous, I love it
Team America - This film was hand-crafted for my sense of humour
Anime
Rurouni Kenshin OAV (1-4) - "...Rain of blood" Beautiful tragedy
Ghost in the Shell - The ultimate cyber-punk anime imo
Akira - Tetsuo!!! Graphic, original
Mind-twister
12 Monkeys - Well written again
2001 - A Space Odyssey - Makes you think...
Horror
Blair Witch Project - Watched this by accident in the perfect state of mind for it
Ringu - Same as above, scary when you're isolated from interruption and the hype
I'll probably change my mind on a lot of these in the next ten minutes but as of right now, this is as accurate as I can think of :0)
It's already been said, but Final Fantasy (VII) Advent Children. The storyline of the game has enthralled me since I first picked up a controller for my -original- playstation, it still does, as well as that, the sheer amazing quality of the computer imaging is something to behold. I also think, that if the clangers, had made a movie, that I would like that, especially if it featured the soup dragon...
''Whoever saves one life, saves the world entire.'' Itzhak Stern.
''Everybody is equal, some people however, are more equal than others'' George Orwell
My Characters ([THK] standing for Thierius Kage):
[THK]Firechapel - To be Heavy Fighter, under construction
[THK]Tigermoth - To be Tradeship*, under construction
*My trader will be played as an RP character once it is fully set-up and my other ship is complete, for all Pirate and unlawful groups concerned, I will try and make this take as little time as possible, so fear not for your income.
A note about my avatar: Don't call me a goth, it was halloween, the black hair and lack of smile yes, the makeup, only when my girlfriend can keep me still long enough to poke them pencil things near my precious eyes...
