Now that I think of it, an idea for the next version: On each main mining system, modify an existing station or add a new one, that sells that trio of ships: Dacite, Mafic and Hegemon. Would make sense, don't you think? You could then remove those ships from other places and put other ships for sale there.

I already wrote about it in dev forum:)
On mining stations (except alg and junkers)
To sell or : basalt, Dacite, mafic;
Or Dacite, mafic, hegemon
On one hand it is defiantly original, the texturing looks solid and the model has ample amounts of detail.
On the other, it looks a bit flimsy with the way the engines and wings are attached... and the ship generally looks to be a bit of a rag tag construction, almost like the Junkers put it together.
Could take a bit of getting used too, but I think it may do the trick.

Hmmm Basalt IMO should remain the "restart ship", any miner with a minimum of wealth would buy at least a Dacite anyway. So, to further improve the idea, keep the Basalt as beginner ship in Pennsylvania, and add a small depot in the Hallam field (maybe an IMG station) that sells Basalt, Dacite and Mafic (Hegemon would be too much for Pennsylvania). Mafic wouldn't be a problem there, since Pennsylvania doesn't have much for high level equipment, thus keeping that "low level feeling" that I love so much in that system.
