RE: (ISAI) History and Upgrades.
The Interactive Shipboard Artificial Intelligence (ISAI) core has been in production for centuries. While most ships currently in use in the Sirius Sector of space have one, the levels of complexity drastically vary depending on both the ship class, ship manufacturer, and intended purpose of the ship itself. Furthermore, the classification as military, civilian, contractor, or corporate entity, also decide on the parameters and scope of knowledge when programming Interactive Shipboard Artificial Intelligence (ISAI).
This message is being circulated to proudly inform all pertinent SGM departments and personnel that we here in the advanced technology department have created, extensively tested, and are now approved to circulate our specialized variant of Interactive Shipboard Artificial Intelligence.
This ISAI is advanced and is meant to assist SGM Command and its personnel with centralizing all pertinent data. This data includes, but is not limited too, current archival data, incident reports, information requests, diplomatic communique's, and the SGM central database. While security is the ever present concern of any organization, the SGM ISAI locks out any classified or restricted data according to relevant, and current security protocols.
Finally, the SGM ISAI is a “living” AI, and is capable of both learning, and interacting with personnel. While it is possible to program a “personality” and “appearance” beyond the default settings, it is ill advised, as the ISAI can exude a very realistic, interactive, human demeanor...
The report continues on for another forty pages.
As you sit down and access the public ISAI console aboard The Errant Venture, nostalgically named Aerith by Colonel Tereus Mitchell, you have the option to query the AI regarding information in the following methods:

Sub Query: The Errant Venture
The Errant Venture is an extensively overhauled SGM Infiltration Class Battleship, specifically tailored to meet the needs of Colonel Tereus Mitchell while operating within Sirius.
The Infiltration Class Battleship was initially created by SGM Research and Development for the sole purpose of clandestine operations within Sirius Sector space, prior to The Council alerting the rest of the houses of Gallia's existence. As such its design is unique, and technology incorporated, while advanced compared to house technologies, cannot be directly traced back to Gallia.
This particular class of ship was created with an elongated, and sleek exterior, in attempts to not only create a smaller detection signature, but also as a means to be hard to spot in sector space, should the active hull camouflage, or the main cloaking device fail.
While the Infiltration Class Battleship looks small, and cramped, it is comparable in overall size to a Ranseur Class Dreadnaught.
Technical readout of a standard Infiltration Class Vessel:
The Errant Venture has been retrofitted to be fully autonomous for extended periods of time. Despite being considered a “Battleship”, The Errant Venture would be better described as a mobile operations platform, capable of deploying transports, snub craft, and orbitally launched, planetary assualt vehicles. This ship is also capable of besieging space stations, vessel interdiction and capture, and system surveillance.
Note: Further information requires Level 10 Security Clearance.

Sub Query: The Twilight Wanderer
The Twilight Wanderer is an extensively overhauled SGM Warden Class Support Carrier, tailored to meet the specific needs of Colonel Tereus Mitchell's Sirius Operations.
The Warden Class Support Carrier is larger then most house carriers, however, it is still more agile, versatile, and acts more as a universal support craft, then a dedicated carrier. While one of these ships is more then capable of defending itself and its objective from a moderate sized fleet, it is best utilized in tandem with dedicated offensive or defensive craft.
This particular class of ship was created as a means to maximize fleet support, while minimizing the overall size of the dedicated force. This particular class of vessel is modular, and Warden Support Carriers can be tailored to accommodate a wider variety of craft, including but not limited too: Gunboats, gunships, snub-craft, assault transports, small support vessels, and Military Mechas.
Despite being a carrier class vessel, The Twilight Wanderer is most accurately associated to The Order's Geb Class vessel. While The Twilight Wanderer is nearly two hundred and fifty meters longer then a Geb, its actual role in combat is a mix between a carrier, supply depot, and heavy battle cruiser. While it most certainly can hold its own in a firefight with any house capital ships, it is rarely employed in head on battles by Colonel Mitchell.
This class of ship is fairly common within SGM Operations, both within Gallia, and outside her borders. It was initially designed to support operations in house space, pre-gallic revealment. As with all SGM Ships no part of The Twilight Wanderer can be traced to Gallia.
Secondary Weapons Batteries (Medium Guns / Multipurpose / Anti-Capital): 60
-30 Fore – Even Distribution
-30 Aft – Even Distribution
Tertiary Weapons Batteries (Anti-Snub / Other): 90
-10 Port Projectile Batteries – 2 Fore / 2 Aft / 6 Side
-10 Starboard Projectile Batteries – 2 Fore / 2 Aft / 6 Side
-35 Port AA Batteries
-35 Starboard AA batteries
3. Miscellaneous Armaments:
The Twilight Wanderer, as with all Vanguard Class Vessels, is modular. As such it can be quickly tailored to fit specific mission needs, in the field. No further information is available on this ship.

Sub Query: Outreach Class Cruiser
The Outreach Class Cruiser has been the long standing choice when it comes to fleet support within the FCOC. Until the recent introduction of the Elysium Class Modular Cruiser, the Outreach Class was the backbone of FCOC fleet support vessels, and have been included in every major FCOC offensive for the past half century.
Outreach Class Cruiser – The Persistent Gnat – Unknown Battle
The reason behind the Outreach Class' success is due to its uniquely slim design, and elongated body. This aesthetic beauty, also serves a more practical purpose, providing the Outreach Class with a minimal detection signature, both electronically and visually, as well as the frame on which to mount a wide selection of capital class armament.
The Outreach Class itself, while aging, can be attributed as the prototype testbed for the new Elysium Class Modular Cruisers. The Outreach Class was initially created, specifically for the FCOC to fill the need for a non-descript, multi-platform, adaptable fleet support vessel, comparable to the house system's battlecruisers. The brilliant minds at SGM Research and Development produced the Outreach Class Cruiser, with direct funding from FCOC itself.
While the Outreach class is more similar in size to the original design of the Order Geb, it is slimmer, more heavily armored, and capable of being quickly adapted to meet almost any battlefield situation. Aside from being able to be turned into a portable weapons satellite, missile cruiser, escort cruiser, and much more, The Outreach class is extremely agile, and can essentially turn on a dime.
2. Standard Ship Armament
Primary Weapons Batteries (Heavy Guns / Anti-Captial): 16
-16 Heavy Anti-Capital Beam Turrets 8 / 8 Port / Starboard – 4/4 Upper Lower
Secondary Weapons Batteries (Medium Guns / Multipurpose / Anti-Capital): 48
-24 Medium Cruiser Beam Turrets (Top) 12/12 Starboard / Port evenly distributed along the ships “Spine”
-24 Medium Cruiser Turrets (Underbelly) 12/12 Starboard / Port evenly distributed the ships lower “Spine”
Tertiary Weapons Batteries (Anti-Snub / Other): 40
-40 Anti-Cap Missile Tubes 20/20 along the sides of the ship.

Sub Query: Outreach Class Cruiser – Medical Refit
The Outreach Class Medical Cruiser Refit is essentially a space faring hospital. While the basic design of the Outreach Class Cruiser is maintained when refitting these cruisers for medical purposes, the main differences between the two are outlined below:
A. The Outreach Medical Cruiser Refit adds three times the armor to the ship itself, at the cost of absolutely no weaponry.
B. The engines on the medical refit are designed for continuous long burn capabilities. This gives them the agility and speed they need to evacuate from a battlefield situation.
C. Interior layout specific to a hospital ship.

Sub Query: Skirmisher Class Destroyer
The Skirmisher Class Destroyer was originally designed to fill a need for a multipurpose, fleet and starbase support ship. Its unique design tends to baffle its opponents, who typically aren't quite sure what to make of it.
The Skirmisher Class is a medium sized destroyer, however in comparison to house destroyers, it is relatively small, similar in lengh to a Corvo Class Cruiser. Despite its bulky appearance, it is quite nimble.
While it lacks raw fire power in comparison to either the Deviant or Brute class of destroyers, the Skirmisher is an excellent hit and run ship, with just enough armament to be a valid threat. This class of ship is best utilized as a mobile offensive platform, and is often used in conjunction with Combat Mecha to interdict and capture smaller vessels.
The Fervent Destruction
1. Standard Crew Compliment
Overall Crew Count: 800 – 1000 depending on retrofit and purpose.
Tertiary Weapons Batteries (Anti-Snub / Other): 20
-12 AA batteries positioned along the elevated bridge defense structure. (6/6 evenly distributed per structure)
-8 Heavy Torpedo Launchers, 4 / 4 port / starboard lower hull.
3. Miscellaneous Armaments
Skirmisher class destroyers underbelly incorporate a modular system, not unlike the ones used by Warden Class Support Carriers. This unique modular system allows the primary and secondary modules to be swapped out with a wide variety of modules, including but not limited too: Defense satellite deployment bays, assault mecha bays, orbital bombardment bays, medical bays, and many more. This particular class of ship can deploy geosynchronous orbital assault pods.

Sub Query: Deviant Class Destroyer
The Deviant Class Destroyer is the smallest line of destroyers currently in SGM Production. This particular class of ship was specifically designed for the FCOC to meet the following stringent criteria:
1. Create a mid-size capital class starship capable of piercing through enemy formations to either throw the enemy fleet formation into complete dissarray, or to break through an enemy blockade.
2. Sacrifice overall armament, and interior space for triplated heavy hull armor to withstand blockaded bombardment, and overpowered capital class engines, to provide speed and agility.
3. Ability to operate with 25% standard crew size, by Destroyer class standards, to maximize FCOC personnel deployed beyond Gallic borders.
The resulting technical and architectural feat achieved by SGM Research and Development in creating the Deviant Class Destroyer, is one that has had no significant changes made to it for over three decades.

Tereus Drake Mitchell is an efficient and extremely effective "Delta". Tereus is a true sociopath, and while his ability to exude social norms convincingly is commendable, it is quite unnerving.

RE: Subject Evaluation
Tereus Drake Mitchell is an exceptional creation, and is a qualified, proven, and seasoned special operations veteran. He is confident, intelligent, and quickly adapts to any circumstance. He can exude social norms, and is fully capable of diplomacy. Despite this, traumatic events in the subjects past are of concern, and it is the recommendation of this evaluating entity that Colonel Tereus Drake Mitchell be removed from active duty, kept under close scrutiny, and required to attend regular “therapy” sessions.
The main concern of the evaluating entity is not the ability or qualifications of Colonel Mitchell, but rather the eventuality of mental breakdown, leading to extreme paranoia, dementia, and possibly uncontrollable psychopathic actions.
It should be noted here that while Colonel Mitchell has already been cleared for active duty at the time of this report, it was done so against the explicit will of this, and several other evaluators, fifteen to be precise.
The reasons behind the recommendation for removal from active duty, while stemming from Colonel Mitchell's tragic and traumatic past, were more due to the fact that it is evidently clear that Colonel Tereus Drake Mitchell is a complete sociopath, with little value for morals, ethics, or humane standards in many aspects of his work.
It needs to be mentioned here that two evaluators of Colonel Mitchell have been incarcerated to an undisclosed medical facility, after debriefing the subject in the presence of General Alexandre Guillaume Grey. While the specifics of the debriefing have already been reviewed by the highest echelon of command, and glibly dismissed, this evaluator cannot in good conscience clear Colonel Mitchell for active duty.
It is NOT normal for two seasoned evaluators with the highest level of clearance, to urinate themselves, uncontrollably vomit, and ultimately end up in a complete catatonic state, as a direct result of a standard debriefing. This evaluator presonally reviewed the debriefing holostream over the course of a month, and from first hand knowledge of the incident, is appalled that you are letting this monster continue to operate...

Adelaide Genevive Zurie
Rank: Major
Age: Classified
Personnel Overview:
Adelaide Genevive Zurie is an “Echo” batch commander, lot: 3265. While Adelaide is an exceptional soldier, and more recently commander, she has consistently taken flak from the vast majority of the SGM Command Echelon. Despite this, when it comes to battle strategy, and diplomatic analysis, Adelaide is quite exceptional
The following log entries explain the “uniqueness” of Adelaide's demeanor:
An excerpt from General Adrien Delmont's personal log, Commander of the Excisor Class Dreadnaught Royal Influence. Adelaide Zurie was stationed here as a squad leader attached to special operations.
Quote:“[Lieutenant] Adelaide Genevive Zurie, while extremely intelligent, and an exceptional soldier, is a loose cannon. While [she] is more then capable of soldiering, and commanding, she lacks the interpersonal skills, and the “big picture” when it comes to squad efficiency.
While [Lieutenant] Zurie did receive outstanding marks at the academy, it was also made evidently clear then, as it has been now, that [Lieutenant] Zurie is unfit for any command duties at this time. After an [extremely] heated debriefing in [my] ready room, I was forced to relieve [Lieutenant] Zurie of active duty, and place her on standby for her own good.
The predominant reasoning behind this disciplinary action against [Lieutenant] Zurie is due to the overwhelming interpersonal issues it is having on the rest of the special operations units, currently assigned to my command. [Lieutenant] Zurie's squad mates protest, while wholly immaterial in my decision, was compounded upon by the after action reports, and formal complaints filed by several of her superiors within special operations. My final decision however was made, after [Lieutenant] Zurie knocked out [her] platoon leader, over a heated discussion regarding battlefield strategy.”
The excerpt of General Adrien Delmont's personal log continues for quite some time. After scrolling through a few dozen pages, you stumble across the following excerpt, which explains her current posting.
Quote:“I'm not quite sure what The Deaths Head is doing in my AO, but after speaking with General Alexandre Grey, this crossing of paths if it were provides me with a unique opportunity to pass the grief, problems, and lack of sleep that having command of [Lieutenant] Zurie seems to bring with such abundance.
As of 2200 hours tonight, [Lieutenant] Zurie will officially be the responsibility of one unlucky [Major] Tereus Drake Mitchell. I've read Major Mitchell's OMPF, kindly shared by General Grey, and I must admit that I see great potential in this man. While it is evidently clear that [Major]Mitchell bears a unfathomable burden after the training incident at the academy, it is also very clear that [Major] Mitchell has an unwavering resolve. Such atrocities have destroyed men, far greater then him...”
The following excerpt is from Colonel Tereus Mitchell's personal log, entered when he was a Major serving aboard The Deaths Head.
Quote:“General Grey has informed me that The Deaths Head will be welcoming the arrival of a [Lieutenant] Adelaide Genevive Zurie at 2200 hours today, and that this officer is to be placed under my command. As I have not met [Lieutenant] Adelaide in person I cannot accurately speak on her character, demeanor, or qualifications. From reading the provided OMPF however, my initial reaction was that General Grey was testing me, for the hell and grief I caused him as a young lieutenant. I sincerely hope that is not the case here, while I always welcome a challenge, I'm concerned it may be bad for unit morale since the death of REDACTED.”
The log goes on, and nothing of note regarding Adelaide is mentioned until you stumble across an after action report / personal log made by Tereus, approximately one month later. It reads as follows.
Quote:“The operation was a success, and my unit successfully exfiltrated a Doctor REDACTED, and his staff. My initial concern, after reading [Lieutenant] Zurie's OMPF, was ill warranted. I must say that today's mission would have been a complete disaster if it weren't for [her].
After seeing her in action today, I have come to my own conclusion that it is the command style of [Lieutenant] Zurie's former superiors that has led to the exaggeration of her “faults”. I am stating this here and now in this AAR, in hopes of having on official record, my observations.
It isn't that [Lieutenant] Zurie was particularly problematic, or brazen. The issue in question is that [Lieutenant] Zurie, as a new officer, exudes the need for perfectionism. While that may come across to most as narcissistic, the truth of the matter is that [Lieutenant] Zurie is afraid of failure, and the consquences that could potentially come with that failure. Furthermore, the facade of perfectionism, is actually a cleverly hidden lack of self-confidence. While in many ways I question the competence of [Lieutenant] Zurie's previous Commanding Officers, such matters are in the past.
I am officially promoting [Lieutenant] Adelaide Genevive Zurie to the rank of Captain. I have already cleared it with General Grey, and, while he was slightly amused at my request, I think the General was more amused at the ruckus it created when he informed command of the promotion...”

Quenten David Daugherty

Personnel Overview:
Quenten David Daugherty is an “Echo” batch commander, lot: 3245. He is an exceptional leader, scholar, and soldier. Unlike many of the other “Echo” soldiers serving with him aboard The Errant Venture, Quenten has an almost, “human” nature. He is carefree, charismatic, confident, yet humble.
His hobbies include orbital hot drops, fencing, hoverbike racing, history, and culture. He can often be seen reading in his off time, usually a text on long dead civilizations, pre-exodus human history, and non-gallic materials.
While the physical demeanor of Major Daugherty can be seen as intimidating, his absolutely entertaining and pleasureable personality has been the topic of conversation among SGM Batch Handlers for quite some time, mostly on the topic of how to replicate it. Batch Soldiers aren't usually this “human” and as such often stick to their own kind, i.e. other “tanks”. The fact that Major Daugherty can be so amicable, and is often mistaken for a human, makes him quite unique.

Aerith Adelin Aiglentina
Rank: Cadet Major DECEASED
Personnel Overview:
Cadet Major Aerith Adelin Aiglentina, fondly nicknamed “Triple A” by her fellow tanks at the academy, was a “Delta” batch commander, lot: 2615. She was intelligent, motivated, and focused, purely professional. Her personality gained her the nickname “Triple A” for shooting down more would be suitors then any female tank at the academy at the time.
The arrival of Delta Batch 2624 is credited with the drastic personality change of Cadet Aiglentina, which set into motion the unfortunate set of circumstances leading up to Cadet Aiglentina's untimely end.

There is a brief pause as the files pertaining to Cadet Aiglentina are unsealed. From the file sizes and level of security access attributed to them, it is clear that something much bigger was at play regarding this particular cadet. While the majority of the sealed files are a collection of seemingly standard daily training facility reports, a few after action reports pertaining to simulated maneuvers, and other standardized reports, the following files stand out in your mind.
Quote:Log Entry: 804 A.S. - REDACTED Training Facility
Entered By: Commander Faustin – Commandant of REDACTED
Cadet Aiglentina and Cadet Mitchell have continued to ignore the subtle, and not so subtle hints command has been giving them regarding this “relationship”. While it is clearly, and solely, the fault of Cadet Mitchell, extensive disciplinary action taken thus far has had no effect on the “couple”.
As all disciplinary action, and authoritative intervention has dismaly failed, it is the decision of this commandant, after much deliberation with the highest echelons within our “program”, that a more permanent, and lasting action needs to be taken. This “need” has been amplified by the rapidly approaching graduation date for this set of “Delta's”.
In preparation for this more permanent solution, a specific set of briefings has been created for both Cadet Aiglentina and Cadet Mitchell. While there has been adamant protest by several of the drill instructors, Commands, and my, decision stands.
It is the opinion of both command and this commandant, that a training accident, in which one, or both cadet's is injured by the other, will have a positive affect, and naturally resolve this case of “summer love”, in such a way that both cadets will become clear headed and focused...

I am making this emergency, unscheduled log entry to apprise all command members involved in the final decision to “punish” Cadets Aiglentina and Mitchell, has gone horribly awry. I am not fully aware of all the particulars myself at this moment, but it has been confirmed that Cadet Aerith Adelin Aiglentina is dead.
I am currently enroute to the place of incident now. Will update as events unfold...
Quote:Emergency Log Entry: 804 A.S. - REDACTED Training Facility

I am updating my previous log entry. Before I start, I know that Cadet Aiglentina's death weighs heavy on not just my conscience, but I feel a physical ache about me. I was transported to the scene of the incident, and while command is well aware that I served in the frontlines, and death is nothing new, this particular situation can be described as nothing short of a horrific tragedy, which I myself helped to put into motion.
Upon arrival at the scene of the accident, most of the involved cadets had been whisked to the medical wing of the training facility for psychological attending. As I entered the mock up of the command center, I must admit, I felt a bit squeamish. The once beautiful and youthful face of Cadet Aiglentina was a tangled mess of shattered bone, blood, and burnt disfigurement. Her brain matter had splattered on the command and control relay, as well as the equipment and walls behind her, up to approximately five meters of her position. Mats of bloody hair, intertwined with bits of bone, and hamburgered flesh were strewn everywhere.
However, that is not what weighs so heavily on my conscience, no, instead its the scene, as I remember it as it plays back in my mind, of Cadet Mitchell, on his knees, holding the broken, disfigured, and disembodied corpse of Cadet Aiglentina, and the emotionless stare on his face, as he glared into her lifeless eyes...
Quote:Log Entry: 804 A.S. - REDACTED Training Facility
Entered By: Commander Faustin – Commandant of REDACTED
The untimely end of Cadet Aerith Adelin Aiglentina is both unfortunate, and a shock to not only myself, but to the members of command who also approved of implementing such a harsh measure of necessity. This shock, and regret, is due to the unforeseeable happenstane of several cadet's using “live” ammunition in the training exercise, rather then the standard issued simunitions.
In the days directly following this tragic event, it has been my duty to address not only the facility, but also SGM Command, that Cadet Aerith Adelin Aiglentina was killed, while participating in this final, simulated manuever. Furthermore, it is with great dismay that I must report that this tragedy has had a negative affect on not only all staff members involved, including myself, but on the involved cadets on both sides of the manuever, with exception to Cadet Mitchell.
Cadet REDACTED, REDACTED, REDACTED, REDACTED, REDACTED, REDACTED, REDACTED, REDACTED, and REDACTED, while showing exceptional promise prior to this unfortunate set of events, have now completely shutdown, locked into their nightmare, and reliving the horrific event over and over. On top of this several of my senior staff, in particular Senior Drill Instructor REDACTED, Lieutenant REDACTED, and Chief Psychologist REDACTED, have all put in their resignations, and are clearing their offices as we speak...
Quote:Log Entry: 804 A.S. - REDACTED Training Facility
Entered By: Commander Faustin – Commandant of REDACTED
We are in the final month before graduation, and I must, once again convey my sincere concern regarding Cadet Mitchell. While it has been well over two months since Cadet Aglentina's grisly, and horrific death, Cadet Mitchell has shown no sign of emotion, and is once again as focused, if not more focused then the day he arrived.
While that was the intended result we had planned, considering the circumstances, I must again protest that this is anything but normal. While I know it is not my place to show such, feeling, or responsibility for a “tank”, as I do feel, and as you should feel, that this result is “our” fault, I cannot in good conscience approve his application for special operations and training, for the following reasons:
1. Cadet Mitchell at this point in time is, essentially, for all intents and purposes, a sociopath, waiting to unleash his inner psychopath. With good reason, I'm sure you all reviewed the Holorecording from the day of the incident, and it has a feral grime to it that has surely stained Cadet Mitchell's soul.
2. Cadet Mitchell has been receiving mandatory therapy, as per my direct orders. Nevertheless his emotionless, surgical demeanor while talking about the event in question, only cements my first objection.
3. While he has continued to excel over the past two months since the incident, he has shown a completely amoral disposition. Nothing effects him emotionally, and while I'm sure our Batch Handler's are rejoicing at this moment, it is almost as if he has become the living embodiement of war itself. While, on paper, we have diligently labored to attain this, in reality, Cadet Mitchell scares the living hell out of everyone here, including the other tanks, and myself.
I know that in these last days, my final request as the Commandant of this training facility has fallen upon deaf ears, and that Cadet Mitchell is being assigned to special operations anyway, under one Colonel Alexandre Grey, but I feel, that as my last act as the Commandant here, that I must, in some way, redeem myself, in hopes of finding some semblance of peace...
You close the file. While there is much more information regarding the incident in question, your heart feels heavy, and you are unable to continue reading any further.
