Manufacturer's Summary
The "Sichel" is the LWB's first successful advancement into the field of ship building. This ship was designed during the early stages of the war between Rheinland and Liberty started, when the LWB's leaders realized that the war would cause difficulties in accessing the civilian ships previously used within their ranks. After a lengthy period of trial and error, the first successful prototype had been created together with Coalition and Hessian engineers, by modifying an Eagle chassis with durable, locally made hull materials and more rugged electronic components. The ship soon was built in greater numbers, but it still remains an uncommon sight among the LWB due to the relatively higher production costs and limited manufacturing facilities available.
Sarah's Summary
I was surprised when I'd heard the farmers build a ship. I was even more surprised when it demonstrated a remarkable ability not to explode. All considered, the Sichel is a pretty sound effort, for a first go. Sure, there's still a few loose electronics here and there, but it's the sort of ship people cared about, when they built it, and a bit of that shines through. Unlike most of the other ships we operate, the Sichel was designed to work in Rheinland from the get go, which means it's internal components are more resilient then I'd expect for something that originally looked like an Eagle knock-off. The Sichel's ultimately an average ship, but it tries so hard that it's hard not to love it.

Hull Cost:1.903.420SC Based:Zwickau Depot (Dresden) Variants:Banshee (Obsolete), Phantom, Valkyrie (Obsolete)
Manufacturer's Summary
Determined to keep ahead in the arms race between lawfuls and unlawfuls, Rheinland was forced to upgrade its already potent ships. As with the Phantom, the Wraith utilizes several new technologies into the base frame. Improved engines and power-plant, along with lighter and stronger armor make the Wraith surprisingly agile. It's no light fighter, but a skilled pilot can keep it out of enemy fire enough to ensure victory.
This vessel is highly restricted, much like its lighter brother. Only elite Military Police units are allowed this expensive craft, along with authorized military personnel.
Sarah's Summary
The Wraith's a pretty unique bird. Firstly, she's got inordinately light armor for a military very heavy, on par with an Eagle. Secondly, she can turn. Boy, can she turn. The Wraith's the only very heavy I'm aware of that can actually out turn its lighter variant. That's right. The Wraith can out manoeuvre the Phantom. Please, hold your applause. We're fighting these things as well, remember? That aside, it pays for that cornering ability with a significant amount of firepower, with only five forward-firing weapons, compared to the usual six. And the main coolant pipe's set up to prohibit access to the reactor, which is a nightmare for repairs, but probably not too relevant to people piloting them. We managed to pull schematics for this one off at Zwickau as well, so we can keep up a limited supply of Wraiths to fly alongside the Phantoms.

Manufacturer's Summary
The Rheinland Federal Police needed a ship capable of dealing punishment to smugglers and pirates alike, and Oder Shipyard delivered. Packing a huge power core, superior shielding and armor, and weapons hardpoints to spare, the Mjolnir is designed to give the Police the heavy hand they need to deal with well-armed unlawfuls. It is the difference between a SWAT team, and a lone cop on the beat. Never intended to be capable of lasting in massed fleet engagements, but rather the ship is built to last until help arrives.
Sarah's Summary
This isn't a fighter. Just thought we'd clear that up straight away. You won't be dodging fire, you won't be darting between weapon platforms in a final, desperate attack run. Instead, you'll be a pincushion. If someone shoots at you, and they're half competent, they'll hit. Just so we know where we stand. The Mjolnir looks like a brick and maneuvers about as well. Thankfully, it's about as hard to shoot down too. There's enough redundant systems in one of these to keep the hull flying long after the pilots meet vacuum, which, considering how quickly the Mjolnir draws fire, won't be very long at all. In spite of all that, the Mjolnir's not a bad ship. As far as prisoner transport goes, it's more then capable of getting from A to B and defending itself nicely along the way, and can even help put a decent hole in a gunboat, in the right circumstances. In the event you are able to turn around soon enough to hit something, she's got a bite that can knock any fighter in the sky down in a single volley. You'll just have to ask them to sit still politely to do it.

Manufacturer's Summary
The Spatial is often employed by mining faction, to explore asteroid fields deep inside the borderworlds. While being as large as some freighters, the Spatial sacrifices cargo space in favor of additional equipment options. Dual mine launchers and the ability to power a single bomber-class torpedo make this craft formidable, yet it's sluggish maneuverability and large size often leave it very vulnerable in combat.
The Spatial is capable of sustained flight beyond a system's heliosphere to an adjacent system, possessing the cold sleep and life support systems to maintain up to five persons for years of sustained travel. The craft is equipped with multiple long burn Ageira engines, any of which are capable of powering the craft independently.
This ship can be retrofitted with special mining equipment, to glean an additional yield from mineral deposits in space.
Sarah's Summary
No problems here. It's a deep space exploration ship that does exactly what it says on the tin. The cold sleep facilities aren't exactly what you'd call roomy, but it's not like you're going to be paying much attention to that once you're settled in, and the engines are some of the best I've seen. Retrofitted pre-tradelane technology, the reactors on a Spatial will keep on burning longer then most suns. On top of all of that, there's enough redundancies in the life support to make what would be a life-threatening disaster in most smaller craft a piece of cake, and just to top it all off, it has the facilities to mine the materials you'll need to fabricate repairs. All in all, an amazing ship. Just don't go flying it in combat or anything stupid like that.

Manufacturer's Summary
The original N01 Rheinland Bomber was crafted as an almost reflexive move on the part of the Rheinland military to the disasterous losses of their assumingly immortal capital ship fleet at the hands of the GMG during the 80 year war. Pressed with the task of constructing a vessel capable of slipping past blockades to strike at vital supply depots and stations seemingly beyond the reach of the Chancellor's flag fleet. These early bombers were little more than cumbersome energy plants wrapped in armor, built in haste from the scavenged remains of gunboats taken from assembly lines.
The modern "Snubnose" Rheinland bomber bears little resemblance to its predecessor. Ultra compact, sleek and possessing the height of Rheinland's renowned reactor technologies, the N58 is a testament to lessons learned and the murderous efficiency of the Chancellor's Military.
Sarah's Summary
Some ships, like the Sichel, are built with heart and, through that, develop one of their own. The Bergelmir isn't one of those. The original 'mirs weren't much more then angry balls of hull plating, and; however different the new ones may look, that's all they really are, at heart. The 'mir is a ship designed solely with the intention of ripping through a capital ship's armor and getting to the people within, and it's been built with that in mind. Really not much more then a glorified gun platform, the 'mir's a purely aggressive ship, and maybe it's just me, but that scares me a bit. No-one wants to drive a sociopath.

While technically the second ship of the HFX line, the Broadsword class is in all actuality a pair of cunningly designed self contained power generators developed for modular mounting upon the light frame of the Falchion. Whereas lesser bomber designs require the development of entirely new frames, which results in even more time and resources spent on R&D, the Broadsword pods contain sympathetic thrust and attitude mechanisms that respond in time with the movements of her mother ship and provide excessive power which is used to support bomber class weaponry.
This next-generation ship is finetuned for frantic combat situations and high-speed strikes against all opposition a pilot might face on the battlefield, a role in which it excels more than the venerable "Falcata" Bomber. Similar to the Falchion however, the Broadsword class has retained a large part of the very sensitive internal components and is even more costly to maintain. Aside from those costs, a further turn-off might be the very limited cargo hold, which makes this ship even less attractive to all kinds of freelance pirates. Nevertheless, if there's a target that needs a good dose of "shotgun diplomacy," the Broadsword is a fine choice.
Sarah's Summary
An upsized and overpowered Falchion, and there's plenty more of it to break. Thankfully, unlike the Falchion, at least the engine pods on the Broadsword are modular, so repairs are relatively straightforward, if cripplingly expensive. Right on the bleeding edge, you won't find flight systems more advanced unless you stick your hand in an AI (which I wouldn't recommend, by the way). Unfortunately, that same advanced tech means the Broadsword's just not that practical. It's a science experiment, not a plane. The ones we've got already spend more time on the floor of the maintenance hangar then in the sky, and I'd appreciate it if you could avoid adding another ship to my to do list. Thanks.

Hull Cost:6.593.420SC Based:Bruchsal Base (Frankfurt) Variants:Dagger (Obsolete), Scimitar, Stiletto, Switchblade, Sabre, Falcata Mk1 (Obsolete)
Manufacturer's Summary
With an influx of Capital Class vessels, the men and women of action in the Border Worlds and Edge Worlds required a ship that could hold its own in the dangerous environment. Boasting more power and armor than the Series Z, and the additional fire power of an extra torpedo slot, the Cutlass has become the bane of bounty hunters and criminals alike.
Designed more for hit and run raids against convoys or running skirmishes with capital ships than for head on assaults against fleets, the Cutlass possesses less armor than the Falcata, but boasts greater agility and thus, supposedly, equal or greater survivability for its pilot.
Sarah's Summary
Pretty much the second best bomber* available in Sirius today, the Cutlass is serious business. Based on the ubiquitous Border Worlds line, it's easier to keep running then almost anything it'll be lobbing torpedoes at and, though the power core is showing its age a bit, it's reliable enough to keep going long after newer tech (I'm looking at you, Broadsword) finishes seeping into the melted remnants of its heatsinks. Add to that the decent forward firepower, and you've got a ship beautifully suited to hit and run (hey, the manufacturer was right for once. I know, I was surprised too). The Bundschuh has been using the Border Worlds line for longer then I can remember, and the Cutlass is an outstanding embodiment of the reason why.
* The best is the Barghest. Just in case you were wondering. Seriously, look at that firepower.

Manufacturer's Summary
A result of the XKR Project, the Partisan Light Fighter is the epitome of Coalition modular design. It is the most basic of the XKR Series and is compatible with a wide array of modules. The Partisan can be quickly and easily transformed into the other fighter variants of the XKR Series.
In its most basic form, the Partisan serves as the Interceptor of the Coalition Fleet, sacrificing armor and power capacity for speed and agility. Contrary to popular belief, Coalition pilots do not have separate fighters, rather they have one Partisan that is modified to become one of the other XKR fighter variants as the need arises.
Sarah's Summary
I was hesitant to open this one up after that bit where the Insurgent nearly killed the engineering crew, but the Coalition promised me that this one wouldn't try to melt my face off, which was nice. Thankfully, this time I didn't need a gas mask and a rad suit. The Partisan's what you get when you strip all the unnecessary equipment off an Insurgent, except for the mountings to reconnect said unnecessary equipment. As a result of all those connection points still floating around, it carries the sort of structural reinforcing I'd expect to see in something a bit bigger. Great, if whoever's shooting at you is scoring hits, but the increased mass means that does become a bit more likely. Don't get me wrong, it's still an Interceptor, and it'll still run circles around anything heavier, just don't let the extra armor go to your head.

Manufacturer's Summary
The blow struck against Rheinland following the events of the war of 800 A.S. placed a heavy burden on Rheinland's already struggling economy and military might. With her dearly bought fleets reduced to the broken testament to a curious period in humanity's history it seemed as though little could be gained save a lesson.
One which Rheinland took to heart.
The Fafnir bomber, brought into the field on the immediate brink of a long forseen war is the result of nearly twenty years of studious labor on how to best break the back of a foe's capital fleet... and restore Rheinland's military glory on the field of battle.
Sarah's Summary
Don't let the classification fool you. The Fafnir isn't so much a ship as a slab of armor with engines and guns welded on. The military pumped enough resources to sink a small planet into the lattice armor on this thing, and boy does it show, both in the upkeep cost and in the performance. The Fafnir's designed for the sole purpose of flying in a straight line at whatever needs to fall apart, and shooting at it until it does. With hull plating heavy enough to shrug off a direct hit from a gunboat's forward gun, it's more then capable of doing just that. Fortunately, for us, we don't have too many gunboats, and that heavy armor strapped to the Fafnir makes it lunch for a fighter. That said, the extra disruptor hardpoint makes it pretty handy to have around if you need to talk to a few transport captains. Not that we'd ever do anything like that, of course. But it's nice to be prepared.
Oh, and if you do manage to get hold of one of these, be careful. We really don't have the materials or the plans to churn out replacements, so if something happens, you get to sneak aboard Westphalia and steal another one, alright?

Manufacturer's Summary
A result of the XKR Project, the Revolution Bomber is the most powerful variant of the highly modular XKR-151-A "Partisan" Light Fighter. Modified to be a deadly solution to the problem of hostile capital ships, the Revolution accomplishes this task with brutal efficiency.
As with all other ships of the XKR Series, the Revolution is highly modular, allowing any damaged parts to be replaced quickly and new ones to be integrated into the design with ease. In addition, the Revolution uses the “Ares” Pod which houses its deadly antimatter cannon, allowing for easier maintenance and repair of its primary weapon.
Sarah's Summary
Ever wondered what it would be like if someone built a spaceship out of kids construction blocks? Me neither, but evidently someone did, because the Revolution is just that. A little like the Broadsword, the Revolution is unusual in that it generates most of the additional energy it needs to fabricate antimatter away from the main body of the ship. On the upside, it means that my job gets a lot easier when it comes time to check the thing, and you don't have a glob of antiparticles with the power to wipe out a small town forming close to your head. On the downside, the reactor's modular configuration means that it's relatively exposed to anyone who wants to play duck hunt with your ship. Really, the Revolution's greatest strength is its ability to drop down to an Insurgent of Partisan, depending on the mood you're in (and assuming no-one runs off with your modules while you're off flying).
