Bayonet and saishi are pretty much the only good HF's unless I'm forgetting one. You may want to post this thread in help and support, though. It's more suited there. The saishi is really nice, tight shield bubble but it does have an iffy cd mount that'll only fire in like a crescent at the lower half of your screen. It's hard to hit so that's not too big of an issue. It's a heavy fighter so fly it more conservatively; you have a smaller shield and hull.
The werewolf is more suited to piracy. In group fights you gonna get rekt. In 1v1, it's iffy. Good pilots will just eat you but it is the fastest turning SHF so you can hold your own at least a little.

Marauder is another wonderful HF if you like nimble and fast ships, slim and maneuverable as hell and with a bigger than usual powercore gives it a good punch for its size, and hard to hit.
The Cuirassier Noir is also really nice, especially in how it looks. HFs in general aren't actually that bad, but they require more skill to be able to be flown properly
But to answer the question, yeah you'll need to fly more carefully in the Saishi then you would a standard VHF, as your hull is noticeably weaker
"You see what your knowledge tells you you're seeing. ... how, what you think the universe is, and how you react to that in everything you do, depends on what you know. And when that knowledge changes, for you, the universe changes. And that is as true for the whole of society as that is for the individual. We all are what we know, today. What we knew yesterday, was different; and so were we."
- James Burke, The Day the Universe Changed (1985)

Not a problem. In fact I am better at PvPing in HFs than VHFs mostly because my fighting style favors HFs more than VHFs.
