History

Jake Winslow former CEO of [Omicron]Weapons.Dealer est. 797 A.S. has returned after a long expedition to the furthest most reaches of the galaxy. He has brought back great wisdom and knowledge, with this he has Invested much to launch this new Enterprise. However, after years at Freeport 9 in Theta, it wasn't gonna cut it, the rental property was too high and business had slowed. He packed up and moved shop to a newly explored system closer to trade routes and capital. Omega 9 discovered by the IMG in a deep space exploration mission around 820 A.S. served quite well.

Established early 821 A.S. Star Space Port has been home to renown businessman and local Zoner Jake Winslow. This Zoner supply Port was put in place to provide those with the supplies and equipment they may need before traveling the far reaches of Sirius.

For a long time, Pilots across the Omega Systems have taught it impossible for a station to survive in Omega 9. People have repeatedly warned Star of all the threats in the Omegas and how Pilots have tried their luck countless times building a home in Omega 9. Star have broken the impossible. Ever since Star started, Star have been hated, under constant harass and attack, pushed down. Star have been under Attack so many countless times and each time it have survived.

In early 822 A.S. due to some poor political decisions and shady deals the Red Hessian Army and a small Corsair group declared their hostile intentions to the Zoners of the Star Space Port base. This collapses the Enterprise. Jake Winslow departing Star Space Port with a few loyal commanders and their research vessels. Joining them the Flag Ship Pavo piloted by none other but himself and few crew men. They were set to Jump to "Unknown" coordinates. < "We will set our sights on deep space away from the chaos and laws of Sirius. Its not about the business anymore its about my research falling into the wrong hands!" - Told Jake, and they jumped >

Star Port has been placed on lock down and all ships were forbidden to dock or undock. The station's crew without the consent of the base's Administrator and supplyments, contacted the Independent Miners Guild to help them as they feared for their lives.

The IMG accepted their request and an IMG Task Force broke through the Corsair blockade and reached the station filling it with precious supplies.

After all, Star was forgoten by all for next few years. But now, it seems that Winslow came back from "Unknown". Let's see what he brings this time.

Known Bases

Freeport 1

Current HQ of Star Enterprise located in 8th level in "Bussines area" of Freeport 1, with own building in it and counts around 20 employees.

Freeport 1 was opened in 738 A.S., by a group of vagrants, wanderers and social outcasts that had left territories of the Houses in order to live beyond the rules and regulations enforced in the core systems. It was the first ever Freeport to be constructed, as the name clearly states, and it quickly gained popularity with the criminals, outlaws and others of a dubious disposition as a place to easily obtain supplies and repair their ships.

Originally a small abandoned DSE depot left over from the construction of the Omega 3 trade lane, Freeport 1 has grown, with new cargo modules and habitation decks being constructed until the station was barely recognisable from the small platform it started out as.

Today Freeport 1 located at most profitable trade route between Bretonia and Other Sirius in Omega 3 system, because most Traders preffer fly through Omega systems, than through the territory controling by Gallic forces, to avoid their blocade. In this system is located few mining fields with Cobalt, Raw hidrocarbons and Water, which are mined with three big mining corporations: Independent miner guild, Bretonia mining and manufacturing and Daunman heave constructions.

And freeport is only one neutral territory for everyone where you can find anykind of people, where costumets can adopt new contracts with companies and establish relationships.

Star Space port

The rebuilding of Star Space Port! After some some careful consideration and debate Star Enteprises have decided to reopen Star Space Port in Omega 5 for the use of all pilots friendly to the Zoner family. This base will only serve as a place to refuel your vessels, rest your weary heads, and gather for drinks and snacks. This base has also been outfitted to serve Jump ships of all classes and will provide fuel, at a price, for those seeking jumps into deep space.

Star Enterprises has deep roots in Omega 5 and we wish to continue the exploration and development in this system to help better serve the public. We seek only common peace amongst our neighbors so we can all enjoy this space port peacefully together. This Port and its visitors shall respect all Zoner Freeport rules and regulations set by CoF.

While construction is in the progress, Our port is available only for our employees and workers.

834A.S

The Year is Now 834, Jake Winslow hasn't been heard from in over 30 years, Until Now. Much has changed in Sirius including the once thriving Station of Star Enterprises. To Jakes surprise Omega 9 Jump holes have become unstable and the new location in Omega 5 and 3 have ceased operation and been abandoned. Seems without the leadership of Jake Winslow the company had all but vanished from the commerce of Sirius.

Jakes return has brought a little hope back to the community he once served and many zoners have rejoined him in his research and business operations. With this new found fleet of dedicated scientist Star Enterprises can begin to grow and prosper again. Excelling in science and research of the vast reaches of Sirius Star Enterprises thrives to bring answers of the unknown to light and use this new found technology to serve its clients.

Omicron Theta and Freeport 9 once the home office of Star Enterprises, now under Corsair control, was the most suitable place for such a business. However, with the growing tensions between Corsair and the Zoner nation it has been decided to base near Corfu Base. The new research facility will be re-constructed and the company will resume operations.

Managerial Positions/Chain of Command

CEO - This is the owner and chief executive. All final decisions go through him/her to be approved and finalized. The CEO oversees all operations in the business and reserves the right to cease any operation at anytime.

CLO - This is the Chief logistics officer who oversees all trade routes, contracts, and supply runs. They will also know the market on supply and demand and request prompt price changes to reflect that. This role is key to making profit and relies greatly on being aware and present of the current market status.

CDO - This is Chief Defensive Officer, who know all about military actions around, about lawfull and unlawfull activitie. Know all about, how to defence, save and secure vessels from any aggressive and dangerous action.
And provide all security of Star Enterprises.

CRO- This is the Chief Research officer in charge of all research and development for Star Enterprises. He manages the R&D department and only answers to the CEO. All major decisions must go through the CEO before any final decisions are made.

Employees - Each employee will fall under one of the three departments Defense, Logistics, and R&D. They are to follow their manager of said department if requested to preform duties. The main power of Logistic operations.

Can attack any ship in self-defense, to protect another Zoner or Allied ship, or in defense of Zoner bases.

Route planning:
To maximize productivity of the Enterprise logistics department, planning effective routes is criticaly important. Every employee of the department may planning a new route if this is required, or altering an existing one.

Transportation of goods:
Star Enterprise is most part haul company with peacefull ideology. We take contracts from contumers, and deliver goods as fast, as our logistic center allows.
Here are not a heroes and when there is choice between life or death, when you were caught by pirate, life is your option, do all what you need to safe your life, because every commodity can re-bought and re-delivered, any penalty can be paid, but life is priceless.

Question:

Aside from the obvious jumptrading, if this is a business faction and you intend to trade why would you need caps? they wont be welcomed in the houses.

If you were working in the omicrons, sure there might be believable reasons for having a small few, but this idea seems better suited to the FL ID than the zoner ID.

**Exploration Mission***

Today we embarked on an exploration mission to some deep sectors of Sirius. Star Enterprises Inc. is dedicated to the expansion of the human race and thrives to settle colonies away from the corrupt governments and bureaucracy of House space. Out here people can live freely and do as they please so Star Enterprises has set out to explore new worlds and existing ones for possible colonization.

We began at Star Space Port, gathered a small fleet and headed out for the Omicrons. With us we took a colony ship, [Star]Draconis, filled with the essential food, water, oxygen, and 1200 Crew along with 400 scientist. This ship was equipped with state of the art Bio pods allowing us to drop survey crews off at specific location with fully integrated sustainability units. We then return for these units, crew in hand, after they have ran their test thoroughly and concluded the experiments needed.

With us we also had an experienced IMG pilot scouting systems and planets for possible ores, mining materials, and possible resources. The IMG are experts when it comes to these things and we are fortunate to have such a strong relationship.

Our first stop was the Omicron Lost system. Know for its Nomadic activity and desolate location this was prime grounds for us to engage a survey crew. We did not expect to find any signs of life or stations of any kind but were fools to think this. As we arrived in orbit of Planet Moros we were surprises to find an abandon station laying deserted amongst the asteroid belt. We were able to pull this info from the archives before sending a crew to the serface.

Discovered and surveyed by a Colonial scientific expedition in 817 A.S. Due to the lack of any valuable resources and a very hostile environment both on the surface and in the surrounding space, economic development is considered very unlikely.
At first glance resembling a gas giant, Moros has an opaque, purple-tinted atmosphere composed of argon, xenon and trace amounts of other gases. The planet's surface is rocky, littered with frozen carbon dioxide crystals and some rare alien ruins.
Over time, a significant quantity of rocky debris got pulled into the planet's gravity well. Also, the Colonial expedition assembled a temporary supply depot in geostationary orbit.
Moros is the ultimate frontier of the Sirius sector. It lies well beyond the boundary set by the edge nebula, and despite the extremely harsh environmental conditions, the Order is considering whether to establish an automated listening post on the surface. Local Nomad activity is surprisingly high. Nobody is certain as to the reason for this, but it is suspected that the aliens also recognize the strategic importance of the system. Economically, Moros theoretically could support a population and generate profits from artifact export, however the same sort of goods are available at a lesser cost and risk in Omicron Gamma, Delta and Theta.

Learning the the Colonials had once tried to establish a station here had our curiosity running wild. Where did they go? what happened? Will they come back? These are just some of the question we ask ourselves. Knowing the planet could sustain life and support a small colony or mining group makes you wounder why they ever left. This planet and the station so far from the main traffic of Sirius would indeed make it difficult to supply. With new advances in Jump Technologies in the early 820's, supplying places this far out have become a thing of the past. Star Enterprises Inc. have dispatched a team on the surface of the planet and within the last remaining module of the station to begin experiments to see if we can indeed start over here once again.

Communications with the Order and the Colonials has started to see if we cant get them to fund such a project or at least take an interest. In two weeks time when we retrieve the scientist and crew we will gather all our information and find out if this would be a viable place to set up a colony or even a Research station given its location outside the edge nebula.

After leaving Omicron Lost we set course for a rumored Alien Jump Gate in the ruined system of Omicron Minor. After discovering the Gate we were very skeptical of proceeding thru it, not knowing what lie on the other side nor where it would take us. First we sent a drone, lost communication almost as soon as it went through. Second we tried a chimp (the Gianas' would not be happy) the pod returned but was empty! This had the crew shaking with fear and sent the captain to the bar for more whisky. Finally the fearless leader Jake Winslow with his own life in hand attempted to go into the alien Jump Gate with his fleet on his six. Lucky no lives where lost and the fleet made it successfully to the other side only to find what appeared to some sort of Alien base stretching for miles!



From our reports and archived information this is what we could find about Omicron Major the system beyond the Alien Jump Gate.

Omicron Major is an extremely mysterious and uncharted system inaccessible by any means but experimental battleship technology and alien jumpgates. No map information has been formally compiled, but sights reported in the area by freelancer and hero of the Sirius Sector Edison Trent have given a limited degree of scanning information. The system itself is seemingly mostly a black void, and contains an astronomically large green gas cloud disguising a spherical Dom Kavash installation. This installation is a type known to humans as a Dyson sphere, it collects energy from the green sun within it.

Due to the extreme conditions of the system and the hostility of the nomad base we did not deploy any survey crews, as colonizing anything here would be suicide and utterly insane.

After many days out at space we returned home to Star Space Port with all the Intel. We have concluded on this exploration mission; that Omicron Lost has high hope of colonization due to minerals and resources found on the planet. Once the survey crew and the scientist are picked up we should have further information on both the planet and the once thriving station that lie in orbit. Omicron Major wasn't a disappointment as some might think. This mission has brought great insite to the nomadic regions and has been deemed off limits for any Star Enterprises vessel. This will be left to our friends at the Order to take care of as the system serves us no benefit.
