It doesn't therefore I'd imagine the OC ID would be best for the job. The LH ID was used to create the Hellfire Legion after all.
Woah woah woah WOAH. Wasn't Hellfire Legion using Xenos ID? They are allied to Xenos after all...

Restart as a colonial and go to the three bars on Pecos to read rumors and news. Then Barrier's gate.
In sumary: The republic declared Coronado as it's new capital since the beggining, at least half of it. But Pecos is still a IMG base with the adition of a refugee camp and we have low activity on the Barrier's side (if you go aslo to Sabah you will find one that will recomend you to go to Barriesr's bar in your time out). The low activity on that side is what you will find the 15th doing: making act of pressence and little more. We don't have the man power to actually cut that smuggling route, not wile we are fighting Galia. That's the reason beause Coronado isn't fortified as it is Rousselion.
Right now that is the situation, honestly I belive that you are taking it too serious. Save that for when the Gauls breake trought Bretonia and we have no other options than fortified Coronado or die xD
The Colonials settled far (!) away from the main route (Baffin-Cortez hole) and on a planet (Pecos camps) that has been in the system forever and has never a) saw any activity, nor b) conflict, nor c) held any interest by anybody.
Of course the Colonials are the largest military power in the system now, however the area around BG is exluded in their laws and independence of BG has been mentioned in there.
In my vision, FL are a bunch of rather unorganised, hetergenuous, highly individual, money oriented and risk-averse people who have no interest in unnecessary conflicts against a militarily superior force themselves.
Colonials have no need for conflict at home. Co-existence is really easy and for a former Tau faction, it should be a piece of cake, especially as I imagine that a majority of Sirian Freelancers are on Colonial side when it comes to the attack of Gallia.
And I would doubt that Barrier sees itself as a prime Outcast hub that would be defended against Colonial influence by sniffies. I only say 6 systems away... that would be as if I claimed that Liberty (center of it: NY) should have full power in... ehm... 6 systems away... Tau 23 to fight for their interests. Invalid thought.
I see where the hype comes from.
I can remember the shitstorm that broke loose after some Midlevel IMG guys claimed Coronado in my absence.
But: it's not really worth it, not irply, not oorply.

So when CR| is asking to have Barrier Gate moved, it is the same as when Liberty HC asks to have Liberty assets moved?
Mimir, BG would have been moved 10 k or so, to allow for anti-smuggler operations. That was the request.
It would have been better worded to ask for the movement of the holes instead, so that the normal 20-30k are between docking points. That's standard, so that both sides in an interaction have a chance to be successful... pirates that want to catch their prey, lawfuls who want to catch a smuggler.
There was nothing more, nothing less.
It just got blown out of scale and taken out of context and derailed into a anti-CR discussion about a more or less non-sense claim + oppression of BG Freelancers. That simply did not happen.
Not at all, it's not an anti-CR discussion in any way, I am not anti anything. I'm not blowing anything out of proportion, I am just trying to figure out what the current status is and more importantly why and how.
I am however just a bit disappointed that roleplay seems to be about consolidation of power over assets rather than providing open stories and adventure to the pleasure of others as well, even when that sometimes means that you won't reach the end-goal you were gunning for.
Ah, then I got you wrong there. Glad to see I am wrong.
Open stories, good question.
The late CR leader had some Coro rp (around Yuma), but it was not really "open".
It would definitely be nice to have open rp between BG-CR-IMG about the status and the progress/development. Definitely.
