Greetings
If you have not already, you should read this broadcast. In compliance to our laws of bases, you are required to pay appropriate tax. This supplies the necessary funds to The Core so that we can defend your bases from all threats which may seek to harm them. Upon complying with the tax, The Core pledges to defend and patrol your installation. A small garrison of Core marines will also be placed on or near your installations to protect them from invaders.
And, if you have not done so already, the Core| tag will be needed to be given docking permissions on your bases.
You will only be required to pay a low tax of 30,000,000 credits to Core|Bank.1. No more future payments will be required futhermore.

*To: Core| and AP Manufacturing*
Hello Jake Winslow here CEO of Star Enterprises though i'm sure you know who i am by now. *smirks*
*reaches for his coffee and diamonds* *sips*
So just got back to my desk and looking over your "laws" you have put on the omicrons and Omegas. They are interesting indeed Mr. Erik Nodtviet high command of the Core| if i'm not mistaken. Please correct me if i'm wrong sir. I have the up most respect for you and your people as we serve our Zoner tradition of neutrality. However, I am a businessman not a squabbling fool! The Core is a mere puppet for a much larger organization known only to us and Sirius as AP Manufacturing.
Now before I discus any further information, concerns, and the future of my people I want to speak to the real person in charge if in fact this "AP Manufacturing" exist at all. Most research and back ground checks of this company is very vague to say the least as seen here from the Sirius Neutral Net. As a renown and very wealthy businessman I deserve the respect to speak to this leader of AP manufacturing as he seems the true Commander of the Core|.
I hope we can sort things out as soon as possible and we look forward to our meeting with the Director of AP Manufacturing.
::: Opening Comm Channel to Confederation of Freeports :::
Dear Mr. Nodtviet
We have no need for additional protection of our installations in Omega-49. In fact, placing your troops and/or ships there, would merely incite violence than ensure peace and safety. By Zoner policy all our bases are open to all and governed by the laws of the Confederation of Freeports, to which we ask you to adhere.
Frankly, Mr Nodtviet, extorting Omicron Supply Industries for a quick buck, as it were, is to nobody's benefit. From your own advertisement you proclaim to operate a whole shipyard in Omicron Rho, which surely is processing a ton of basic commodities such as various alloys, Ship Hull Panels, Electronics, Optronics.
That is, at least, what we experience on a daily basis with our share of Livadia Shipyard and our shipbuilding subsidiary “Koydern Manufacturing & Shipbuilding Inc.” and from partially supplying the part owned by the Temporary Autonomous Zoners.
Contracting Omicron Supply Industries could surely save you more than those 30 millions you try to extort from us. Saving money is, at least in business, the same as earning. Also I am pretty sure there is reciprocal business the Core could offer, once we enter negotiations.
Questions is, if you keep on insisting on being paid the thirty millions or if you want to do business with OSI. Therefore, it is up to you, Mr Nodtviet, if you want to be seen as a serious businessman or a mere pirate.
Best Regards
Jason Kelly

::: Opening Comm Channel to Confederation of Freeports :::
Good day Mr. Nodtviet
We have seen your proposal, but you are very unclear about the exact details of it. We don’t feel the need for additional security in Omega-49 and are, therefore, reluctant to spend money on a service we neither need nor appreciate.
We would have appreciated a peacekeeping force during the war between Coalition and Corsairs, which ravaged part of the planet. But thankfully, they have come to their senses.
In another communication you have referred to those payments as “tax”, now OSI is a self-governing entity, with own health care, school system and all those things that come with running a megacity.
A taxation requires a underlying constitution or basic laws, usually decided by those affected in a free vote, in order to build a nation. Neither is true in your case, therefore I must ask you how the core is eligible to impose taxes on self-governing entities in ungoverned space, such as Omega-49?
On that point, we are also curious to know about what laws are you proposing/imposing on the space you claim to represent, and how the people and corporations inhabiting that part of space can expect to be represented and towards whom.
Also, we do already pay a “tax” to be represented by the Confederation of Freeports, who represent OSI and many other Zoners. We would therefore need the CoF to agree on the Core| taking over their rights and responsibilities in the contested systems. This is why I decided to inform the Confederation of Freeports to be represented by them in this matter.
We would rather have the Core| as equal business partner as there are indeed a number of services the Core could provide to Omicron Supply Industries. If a deal on this level could be struck, it would avoid antagonizing the drive to self-government intrinsic to every Zoner and change the perception of the Core towards the positive.
Best Regards

Greetings, Star Enterprises. In compliance to your request, I shall take over responding to this comm. Although Nodtviet is fully verified to handle legislative issues such as this, we will comply to your request.
Returning back to the topic at hand - Star Enterprises will be required to pay the one time fee as described in the original transmission. After this, there may be some more lucrative perks involved if you are interested.

Greetings, Omicron Supply Industries.
The Core is the most efficient fighting force in the Edgeworlds. I'm passing you an offer that you would be mad to refuse. Under our guise, we can ensure that Omega-49 will be kept safe from hostile threats.
Taxation of your station is a necessary means for us to acknowledge whether installations will abide by our laws and our presence. The funds are used for Edgeworld operations, which in turn are used to ensure you and other Zoners are kept safe from hostile threats.
Indeed. There are several business ideas and negotiations that The Core and APM have in mind for Omicron Supply industries if you enroll in our program. The first step is paying the base taxation fee. I'm sure Omicron Supply Industries may be interested in acquiring specific materials only obtained within the Edgeworlds as a means to construct special technology.
I will go into more details including a contract once the base taxation fee has been paid.
You are in no position to make demands. You claim to command the “most efficient fighting force in Sirius”, yet at the last meeting of the Board of Directors I had to learn, that you were whining about some savage Corsairs ripping your fighting force apart - at least that’s how my Director of Security put it. I didn’t inquire about the details, as I’m already busy enough.
All of our stations abide by the laws of the Confederation of Freeports and since you’ve asked Omicron Supply Industries to uphold the laws of the Confederation I assume you are agreeing to adhere to those.
This includes, that you will neither patrol the vicinity of our stations nor base troops on them. You will, however, by Zoner tradition, be allowed to dock on our bases to do business. Loitering, in fact, anything but flying at maximum impulse towards and away from the station, will not be tolerated.
Those are the terms you have to agree on, before we even consider paying you anything. Frankly, Mr. Nordviet, we are at this point and time very disappointed in your demeanor and this will need to change, if you want to be accepted as a trusted business partner of Omicron Supply Industries.
Best Regards

Greetings, Omicron Supply Industries.
"Ripping our force apart". Mr. Kelly, if you truly think that our force is composed of one passive reconnaissance ship and only that, then you are gravely mistaken. I invite you down to Delta, so that you can truly observe our might as we decimate the Corsairs and The Order.
Of course, The Core won't intrude upon your own installation laws, nor will marines be docked on your stations.
I have started this message in good faith in your judgement and less so on your abilities for precise formulation. I was already formulating pleasurable remarks about our consent to invest the thirty millions in our business-relationship and hoping to share the rewards of this relationship with our newfound partners.
But after a summit with the Confederation of Freeports and hearing about your declaration of war against the Star Space Port, I have to revoke my decision and make it perfectly clear to you:
You are required to accept supremacy of the laws of the Confederation of Freeports in all of Omega-49 and all the bases under the administration of the Confederation of Freeports. And, especially, not using any of those bases to stage attacks of any kind.
That does include your quarrel with Star Space Port and their people, who are, by all means, our brethren. They have chosen not to “enrol” in your “program” and to not make business with you under these circumstances, so you should respect their decision and not make empty threats of violence.
Omicron Supply Industries, however, still wishes to do business, with the Core|, but we remain adamant that the Zoner ways shall not be tarnished by doing so. Therefore, in agreement with the Temporary Autonomous Zoners and the Confederation of Freeports, we will revoke your docking rights to all our stations, should you or your faction do anything against the interest of the Zoners.
The Zoners have seen many attempts to take their freedom and put them under the yoke of foreign laws. But we are still free and our own masters. No one can take this from us, because the will to live in our way is what defines us and this deeply-rooted belief cannot be broken.
It is still up to you, Mr Nordtviet, to preserve the peace, agree to these terms and enter a fruitful business-relationship with Omicron Supply Industries and other Zoner Factions for the benefit of all involved.
I urge you to restore my faith in your good judgement and not cause bloodshed among our kind.
Best Regards
