Skype conversations do not specify rules. Look for green announcements from us. If you don't see an announcement, you're not allowed to step outside the bounds of what is already there.
You make your own decisions. If we see a sanction-report or player-request come across our desk though, we only take into account what's been made and laid out on the forums under official announcements.
Operate at your own risk if you're looking for loopholes or methods to slip past what is solidified.
We use Skype Quotes for various things. Making rules, or telling what people to do ingame is not one of them.

Finn was implying to me that there was cohesion among the admin team that one time payments were allowed.
And if we are meant to be looking for green announcements, then how about the admins tell us in a green announcement that the rule is ironed out and fully comes into effect, rather than ninja-ing it into the rules section? I'm not the only one who was unaware that the rule was still in effect.

They have not ninja'd it in. It was there the moment announcement was made. And no admin stated that new rule is being recalled.
In Lyth's defense the rule was put in effect after he started the RP of getting ready to tax the bases on Core for supposedly unrelated reasons(Liberty). There should have been some sort of official admin decision towards the Core if there wasn't one. I don't agree with everything about the Core but lately it just seems like people are just trying to make excuses to get mad at Lyth and get him in trouble... thats just my opinion of course but it is starting to get silly.
He edited the posts to reflect what he was told by two admins on skype... so apparently that isn't good enough according to this thread now but if I was in Lyth's shoes I would have assumed the same as him.
Yeah, when people refuse to RP and uses rules a shield, you know they hit rock bottom.
I mean, station they are going to siege is SHOOTING THEIR SHIPS. That's more than enough reason to shoot the station when owners clearly wants to be hostile.

Yet again I got several admins involved in that and they pointed towards me editing it. And hey-hee-ho, I get sanctioned.
