Silence looked up at James, the ship juddered to a halt. The mooring lights turned from red to green on the large metallic airlock doors. They proceeded to hiss open and the party stepped out into the Prison. James stood in the middle and the two Kusarians on either side. Silence signaled for them to begin walking, they headed towards a Gallic man that looked the most important in the immediate vicinity.
Silence coughed"We've come to collect a prisoner for the Republic, they are being transferred for interrogation by the Kempetai." The three looked rather intimidating and the Guard stepped back from the three.
"Do you have any papers?"He looked at the three.
Silence nudged James to hand him some documents which were obviously forged.
James took a set of documents out of his vest, which had been prepared in advance of this excursion. One was a fake ID for himself, indicating he was a contractor for the Kusari Republic. Two others were false identification papers for the two Zenith operatives, both had been given unremarkable positions within the Kusari military.
The final piece was a transfer order for a prisoner, identified only by a prisoner number.
Thanks to a subtle, if slightly hurried piece of hacking work courtesy of Jaeger and JADE before the flight, all of these documents would withstand a superficial cross-reference with some of the less secure Kusari databases - as entries for all these papers had been created there, complete with falsified timestamps for time of creation, indicating that they were all indeed personnel in the employ of the Republic - and had been for some time. Otherwise, the documents were next to visually perfect. Save anyone with remarkable skill at detecting extremely tiny discrepancies, they'd pass a visual control.
However, should anyone decide to consult an actual Kusari governmental employee responsible for POW management between Gallia and Kusari, or perform a more comprehensive database reference check for further information on these entries, anyone responsible for such things worth their wages would raise red flags pretty fast, and by then the jig would be up.
James silently presented the documents to the guard, and awaited his verdict, looking as bored as only a PMC on a trivially routine job could be.
The guard inspected the papers, flicking through each one fairly quickly. Perhaps a lot quicker than he was taught to, but it wasn't like Silence or the others minded. After straightening up the pieces of paper, the guard looked up and nodded.
"I will take you to the cell."The man approached a metal door and entered a code into the machine next to it, the door hissed open allowing them to walk into the heart of the prison. Every 3 meters was a cell door with a number and colour, each one contained a prisoner who would likely never see their homes again. This prison housed the most infamous criminals in the whole of Gallia, maybe they didn't have a right to be set free?
"Here."The guard stopped the group and entered another code into the door. It, like the other, hissed open. Inside a lady lay sleeping on a metal bed with no sheets, blankets or pillow.
"Wake up!" The guard shouted. The lady shot up in an instant. She looked at the three men behind the guard and her eyes lit up. She knew that she had a chance to escape from this place.
"You're being taken to the Kempetai Headquarters in Kusari."he approached her and cuffed her, he then walked her back down the corridor to the where they had come in.
"Here is the swipe code, she's in your hands now."
"Hai, she will be of great use to us."Silence meant that, not in the way that the Gallic thought though. With that they boarded their ship.
The woman straightened her back as the transport started moving. The relief could clearly be seen on her face, the month in prison seemed to have affected her indeed, but after some time she found speech again.
Arigato... Zenith. I take it Mori made it out in one piece, then? Oh... and could you remove those handcuffs?
