Background: I come from Saiga Clan, pretty conservative branch hailing from Planet New Tokyo. After Samura's coup, my family had to hide their allegiance to the Old Emperor Line being unchanged for centuries. In the wake of the Republic, Saiga Clan hoped for re-establishment of the proper and Only Emperor - the hopes pushed into dust as coup d'etat forces had way different plans for Kusari. I, unlike my ancestors, have no wish to hide with my allegiance and throw my true colors and announce to the whole Kusari than Saiga Clan has always stood alongside the true emperor, showing no respect for the false leaders.

Saiga-san, your application has been reviewed by the Sotaishos and there are a multitude of concerns, among them a very.... 'imperial' view on women. The Bakufu judges only on ability and merit, welcoming both men and women, so old-fashioned views on women are incompatible. Your repeated mentioning of emperors also raised a few eyebrows.

It is the conclusion of the Military Command that you are considered unfit for service in the Tenrai. Perhaps you would be a better fit with a more conservative clan.
