Hyun eyes the holographic wall. "You have a better reputation with them than we do. If your willing to ask them we will foot the bill.
Other than that I see no foreseeable Issues unless you have some incite. With that said how soon can we start, and what can we do to help?" Hyun said while clearing the dishes.
"We shall perhaps talk to them. I must turn this into the Shogun so they can decide. If the Lane Hackers are not in as good of terms with you, it is best that you stay anonymous if you wish to fund us. I can give you my private neural net account. I can estimate that the cost of funding this will be about $345,000,000 Sirian Credits. We could also get the GMG to do this instead. In fact, that may be the better of the options, if we don't want to trip a big alarm, which is what we don't want to do. Once I return, I will meet with the Shogun and ask about what they think. Once I have their decision, I'll send an encrypted communication to you stating when this will be happening. The only thing you should need to do to help is fund us."
Hyun's face cracks into a big grin more so than when he was introducing The Good Lady to the facility.
"Lady Hisano, I am honored that this could work out between us. There is much to be done." He claps his hand and the screen clears to the 4 in' thick glass separating them from the harsh dark matter vacuum on the other side. He brings the lights up a little as he moves to the door of his quarters. As he approaches a vacuum seal is released and the door swings open on its own. Hyun bows and gestures for Lady Hisano to exit first.
"I shall see you back to your ship and safely launch please send the full bill to me and I shall make sure to pay it. Anonymity is essential in this. As this will pave the way. I look forward to hearing from you. Hyun said as they exited the sanitation chamber.
They entered the lift together. Hyun punched the button of the bay Lady Hisano's ship had been logged in and waited for the lift to arrive there.
It has been some time since Lady Hisano had been to visit. Hyun was sitting in his room under a ton of Kusari takeout cartons. Staring at the holographic ship model as it spun in place Hyun was thinking very hard. He had been rejected by the Lane Hackers and denied by the Dragons. He was running out of options and ideas. Thankfully Samura was quite willing to sell the ships to AFC not only that but they showed an expressed interest in the engine Hyun mentioned. If possible Samura could be the ally that Hyun had been looking for but it was too soon to tell. Hyun needed a bargaining chip something that made his theory viable. He needed to know how trade lanes worked.
Needing a break from this headache Hyun decided to focus on a different problem. The Hot Rod. finding a mixture of elements that allowed the engine to use more juice would be difficult but not impossible. He already new of a good place to start. Blue diamonds. With their high melting point strength and semiconducting properties This very possibly could generate the desired resistance to radiation that we are looking for. The new engine will be ridiculously pricey but it should be able to handle any amount of force applied to it. It would require High Temperature Alloys as well. Hyun realized he was going to need to have a shopping list ready for Sunny when he came by. By introducing Holmium in to the mix you would gain magnetic properties that would serve to further focus thrust. He wanted some Iridium to see if it would increase the bonding of the other element or in case he had to switch one of the resistant metals out. He would need a few Cryo-cubes to help in the setting process. Well to start Hyun would work on formulating a working compound that could withstand high temperatures. Hyun pulled up his PDA and started typing.
Items needed: 2000 Blue Diamonds, 4000 High Temperature Alloys, 2000 Holmium, 2000 Iridium, and 10 Cryo-Cubes.
Hyun typed Sunny's name into the address bar and hit send. While wait for Sunny to get back to him Hyun decided to go do some time in the rec room.
Hello. I've decided to take you up on your offer. I need a bit more space for me and my crew to get this prototype running.
Here is the list of dangerous materials on my ship.
Antimatter- Contained in packages and reacted with oxygen. (We are almost certain that this is Anti-Hydrogen)
A chemical compound that seems to be water but is very unstable.
Everything else in my ship is either inert or safe to handle without protection. The one request that i ask of you is to help us get the prototype prepped and tested before we start any kind of finalization method.
Elridan,
I am pleased you have taken us up on our offer. As you receive this message our forth lab is being fitted for your experiments the estimated time to completion is about 2 weeks. As you can understand working with such volatile materials demands the utmost safety or at-least enough to ensure no more than just that portion of the lab is destroy in the event of a disaster. That said if you would like to help accelerate the process we are looking to buy around six power plants from IRG. Their new model. However getting a hold of them has proven difficult. The faster we obtain these new power supplies the faster we can get started. As for right now we are upgrading the shielding surrounding the specific unit you are going to be using. Please feel free to stop by and preview the work as well as make sure the changes are adequate for you to use.
Thank you for your quick reply, also I will see what i can do about getting those power cores. Though i cannot promise much.
I would also like to say that the shielding will be much appreciated, but for the best result for containment due to failure. Well, that would be a lead plating.
Well, lead - 206. The isotope at the result of the uranium series.
In our ship facility. Takanashi, one of my team, found this isotope to block any sort of radiation that may occur from this Antihydrogen. This lead plating will be a requirement to keep any disaster contained.
