I seriously hope someone in the dev team will bother to write up a proper deployment document for the next major patch so we don't have the above happen again and again.
While I was in the Admin chat on Skype, Jansen had me help him and Dimon (who was a Mod at the time) work on a very comprehensive set of ID updates. This was Feburary ... maybe beginning in late January. Point is, some time ago.
Part of what I did, alongside standardizing common lines and fixing broken English, was correcting ZoIs for multiple factions, such as (but not limited to) the IKN and Gallic Corporations.
I was told (I cannot see the Admin forums, which apparently some Admins didn't even know, while the others didn't care) that the ID update had passed an Admin vote, and was awaiting implementation.
That was March. I have heard nothing about it since then, even though I brought it up a number of times.
What is the point of the correspondency chat or the FSRs then if either a player or a faction request has to be submitted for something to happen anyways? I mean sure, you can discard complaints with "they bash admins to have fun" bullcrap, or you can consider them and change what needs to be changed. (EDIT: I've been ninjad with a bit more info making admin/dev relations and communications look a lot more confusing now. What's so difficult in having talks?)
So far regarding the Exile ID ZoI change the posts of this thread highlighted two important details, one is that such an ID change can be done in the matter of a few minutes, the other is that it has not been done for seven or eight months. What do you think doing the math would result in what exactly?

Edited a little here and there, to be more clear
Implementing the IDs is not taking that long, the big issue is everything that comes before this.
That is proofreading, checking that the ID actually fits the lore, checking that the ID is layout-wise in line with other IDs, checking that the ID is not overpowered compared to others and all the other fancy parts that are necessary here.
The problem is that there are quite a few IDs (official faction IDs not even included yet) and that at least I'd rather have everything done properly when we implement this, so that we dont have to deal with bug-fixing and loophole searching afterwards. Though this is the kind of work that is not even the slightest bit of fun, so its really good at destroying motivation if you have worked on this (with breaks) for the last one or two years.
Quote:Gateway, highlighted in April so that was valid for May, June and July. Two months recovery then reached 13:02:48 for July, any reason for not losing officialdom?

Sorry, but in this particular case, this is just making excuses. We're talking about an ID change that is not only simple af (changing the ZOI from Bretonia+Taus to Kusari+some Taus), but also necessary for the storyline to move along. Aside from this, I have seen literally no correspondency or try to engage in communications from your side after pretty much any FSR - as evidenced by the increasingly frustrated tone seen in them. And that's assuming that you don't have the common sense to think about what it could be that I am asking for there.
Excuse me if I sound aggressive here, but it's just the factual truth. You dicked up. Admit it.
