I swear I have never heard of shadow logging till now.
-Shadow loggers, are the players who watch the players list and switch from character to another just to follow someone and kill several times.
-Blue message whores, are players who give minimal RP and escalate things just to kill and get a blue message even if inRP it makes no sense.
I can only second the above post, when you dont happen to trade you do look for where is activity. I'm sure the majority does that. Otherwise everyone would be running around in empty systems half the time.
There's a difference between logging to target certain players because you don't like the players, and logging to target random players because they are of hostile affiliation IRP.

This is starting to miss the point. I love how this happens here just too often. It's not about people that look for interaction but about those who seek to cause damage or are just after blues, doing minimal or dumb roleplay to get what they want. It's not a rare thing that people drop /1, /2 or even just only /1 and then snac people out of the way before they have a chance to react, with some stupid excuses. That's the point of the thread, it's not about your stupid extremizations of it.

Not really, RNS- playerbase is a slightly bigger than groups like, let's say... {343}.
I think I might actually be one of the reported people for this. A few days ago I logged to destroy a Hessian cruiser, and provided only 3 lines of RP before engaging him, so I could drop his shield before he could dock with a station I found him at, and thus either make him fight or PvP dead. I'm sorry to him for the bad experience, but in case someone abuses Freeports for piracy, I will always treat them so, if not worse.
