Earlier today one of the Liberty Navy's new Recruits Charles Bridwell managed to shoot down the Leader of the Ravens over Manhattan. He tractored in the escape pod and headed for the Planet. He was met on the planet by the usual 4 man detail for taking prisoners into custody. Unknown to the Navy soldiers Juan Carlos, A.K.A. Jackal, was not going to go down easy. Having laid inert for the trip, the recruit thought he had an unconcious prisoner. When the pod was opened to put the shackles on the prisoner he burts forth killing two of the transport team with a wicked looking sword. A second later a third of the team was down holding the ruined stump that had moments earlier been an arm. Screaming he fell to the ground. Juan then directly assaulted the other of the team and Bridwell. The attacks were lightning fast and came with devastating force. The guard went down to a well placed hit from the hilt of the sword. Bridwell fought hard, using everything he'd ever learned trying to take down the Raven. They could hear the alarms going off around them. Someone had obviously seen the fight and support would be there soon. Juan flew forward, sword flashing in the light of the docks. Bridwell managed to duck away from the blade by scarce hair widths, only to have the handle smash acros his face almost immediately. The Raven leader then cleaned his blade and swooped up the inert forms of the two men not dying and carried them into the hld of the Naval Guardian. Being and expert pilot Jackal quickly had the fighter up and started his accent towards the Docking Rings, the Naval Vessel was automatically cleared for departure, as the tower fought furiously to shut down the ring. Jackal made his escape in the nick of time, the rings sputtering out of activity just after he passed through them. Blocking the chance of pursuit from the planet. He was engaged and managed to evade very much damage heading for the West Point inthe Trade Lanes. Word was just reaching West Point as Jackal engaged the Lane to old Ithaca station and it disappeared into the badlands.
Be advised that this guardian is still programmed to interact as a Navy vessel, though flown by a known pirate. Destruction fo this craft could kill the LN soldiers. Extreme Caution is advised.
For SNN News I am Nancy Flemming reporting from Newark Station, New York. Back to you Mark. Screen hops to the main anchor, and drones on....
Nancy Flemming Reporting again on the capture of Liberty Navy Pilot Charles Bridwell. For those of you just tuning in, Notorious Raven Pirate wings leader, Juan 'Jackal' Carlos has been captured and then escaped, taking two Liberty Navy personnel as his prisoners. He was seen going towards West Point and word has reached us that the pirate has used the Navy IFF on the Navy vessel to land on Houston in Texas System. We have Bill Ward of the local Houston branch of SNN here with more. Bill? The screen cuts to a middle aged man, his suit cheap and his hair a mess. His voice is clear however and he jumps right in on cue.
Thank you Nancy. I'm Bill Ward here at Houston Space Port, Security Headquarters. So far all they will officially say is that there have been reports that Juan 'Jackal' Carlos has been seen in Texas, however a private contact has given us more.
Bill opens a folder, inside are pages of documents. He pulls one out holding it up to the camera. The Houstoon Space Port Security Letterhead is clearly visible
Jackal has been able to land on Houston and not only repair and resupply, but has gained a new Identity and ID. Our source says Jackal has a freelancer ID, and his ship will now come up on scanners as Juan.Carlos. This Navy Guardian is again, a fully loaded Navy Vessel with 2 Navy Personnel as prisoners::shows up as Slaves::. It shows up as a Naval Vessel to combat and targeting computers.
The skies over Texas are darker tonight Nancy. Back to you...
SNN News Flash interrupts the regular program and a reporter is standing in a park. The caption says Planet Denver.
This is Chet Willard reporting on a just breaking story. The infamous Juan Carlos was spotted just a little while ago near Planet Denver. A passing trader made contact and reports that Juan stated he will be hunting more of the LN's Officers. He wishes to fill his hold with these men and women and deliver them to some unknown fate. This is Chet Willard advising any that have to fly the stars today to beware. Juan Carlos is on the loose and promises to bring more destruction.

Hours later....
Yet another SNN News Flash interrupts the program to a young man in an obvious space vessel. Out a porthole behind him a fierce battle rages. The vessel the reporter is on rocks as a blast impacts with the ship.
This is Christofer Martin, of the SNN Star Reporter. We have come across a heated battle between known Fugitive Juan Carlos and the Liberty Navy and Police forces over Planet Houston in the Texas System.
The reporter motions to the porthole
As you can see the fugitive seems quite capable in his stolen fighter. Using the Navy;s own equipment to down their fighters one after another. Joined forces of Navy and Police here have been fighting a long dangerous battle with this self confessed murderer. Many good pilots have already fallen to his prowess. No word yet as to whether the LN will be ordering a more direct manhunt after this fugitive. So far the body count has risen to 11. The terror has covered almost every system in the Liberty House. Will there ever be an end?
He listens to an earbud, and looks again out the porthole.
I have just received word that the fugitive has apparently broken off his attack and moved off from the Planets orbit. Reports say he is heading for the Bering system. All available fighters are scrambling to intercept. It seems that once again, Juan Carlos has evaded capture. That's all for now, this is Christofer Martin signing off. Stay safe out there!
Screen skips back to the program that had been interrupted, to where it would have been if it had kept running and not been interrupted. Viewers all over Liberty are outraged having missed almost fifteen minutes of their programs.
