"Orbital mechanics? thats simple, you hit the white off that cushion into the reds, which promptly scatter everywhere, and thats how asteroids get all over the place." Max shrugged, "Unless you mean the guys who keep fixing stuff, then I've got no idea."
*a bit back in time from the post in the memo dump*
"So.. What's all this I keep hearin' 'bout some 'Bloody Corsair' drink you guys have goin', here?" Came a voice from the doorway. The voice's owner was a rather short, however handsome, young man. Black hair, a little "scruff", somewhere in his mid-20's.
"Well... What the hell! Gimme one of them!... And make it a double!..."
"But you're still the right size. Come over here and lie on the table.. we'll use you to simulate the "rough" we'll have to clear that stretches between Leeds and California.
"Now, gentleman, once we've established a good high trajectory up over Mackenzie, we can reduce thrust to...."
"Well boys and girls, seems we will have a little time on our hands for a bit ... Thought I may open the bar up
to a few more people while the dust settles.

Some say he is a proud member of: "The most paranoid group of people in the Community."
"Well the sentiment and the new company will be appreciated, Boss. Maybe relieve our loss a bit, if anything can." Pops offered morosely. 'Sophie, I believe the Colonials like something called "Ambrosia".. any in stock?"
"Lads, this indeed is ironic. Today I gained a new friend, and lost an old friend. My new friend flies a train for the KN. I met her by accident in Kusari, and of course was forced once again to explain my bloody tag. We talked a bit of business.. very astute. As the talk turned to the price of deuterium and engine thingies (romantic, eh?), I had the outrageous idea of inviting her walkabout to see Baffin, and explore the route to Canaria. I must commend greatly her piloting skills, as we jumped into 49 directly on top of half a dozen Titans who began making inappropriate advances. Being neutral to them, I didn't immediately notice her plight. What a poor host I was! I turned back and engaged the randy lads, probably buggering up my poor HUD even more in the process, while she managed her escape toward the nearest sun. She made Lanzarote safely, but our encounter had buggered her schedule, and I escorted her back to to the Dublin Jump, quietly this time. I never did pour her that julip.
"And then I return to New York, and hear of Caylith's loss. Sometimes one wishes the blasted Chao would stop spinning altogether, and give one some peace.
"Fiona Laguna.. she reminded me a lot of Caylith. A warmth. A quick riposte at hand. Well-spoken, but coquettish. A companion to share pleasant thoughts with on a long journey...."
A pause, a distant gaze into memory, a deep breath, and Pops gathers the strength to rise and stand tall.
"Fellow Sirians! A toast, to friends, old and new! Though hearts are often lifted, they can often be torn as well. Let us vow to be the Lifters, not the Tearers!
"And to our Lady Eris: Please, Please, Take a week off, and go on holiday with Shamus in Cabo!
~Raises a hearty glass to Mal's impassioned toast~
"Righty-o chaps, new addition to the menu:
Effing PvP'er
Contains lots of gas and not much substance. But be warned, it's guaranteed to give you the sh*ts. Great for moving that stubborn block of cheese you just had to devour last time you got the munchies....."
Mix Effing PvPer with a Bloody Corsair and a Burning Xeno. Add a Raving Outcast on top of that all!
If the stars should appear one night in a thousand years, how would men believe and adore and preserve for many generations the remembrance of the city of God? - from 'Nightfall' by I. Asimov The Outcasts consider Siniestre Nube a sacred place for several reasons. Early explorers discovered a jumphole within the depths of the cloud that leads to a strange world of ringed stars and strange craft. All ships in the burrial ground are placed facing that hole to honor the Alien Spirits. - An Outcast rumor
