Barely gets broadcasted and if it is, it's usually on a satellite channel, but it's bigger on the continent. That pic was at a friendly tournament at our Uni pool between us and a few other older clubs in the North-West of England (Lancaster)
We've just had some good success as a Uni team, actually, as we've had the Ladies team get Silver in the national Uni competition, and Open-class A's came 4th.
Consider joining the canoe club when you get to Uni, there's likely to be some involvement at the Uni there, and if you've not done much, you can pick up the necessary skills quite easily. St Andrews, Dudnee and Glasgow all have teams if you're staying in Scotland, and others may have interest as well with new teams if you do look further South (Wales/England).
BTW, I'm assuming you're doing Scottish Highers next year based on the conventional Feb cutoff that Scotland have unlike the rest of the UK. If I've got that wrong, blame me for being educated by the English.:P
You will never go in to space.
FACT: Space does not exist.
Spheres that insist on going into space are inferior to ones that don't.
