So, I've finally made back enough money to start a non-trading char and am trying to figure out what faction I want to try out.
I want to try my hand out at an unlawful as I have never done that before, I've only done smugglers and semi-lawfuls. I dont really want to be on the high corruption end like corsair rogues and the like, but more I want to fight for something like gaians, dragons, farmers, Bundschuh, etc.
I'm leaning away from liberty as there are really quite enough players there and it's kind of chaotic and random and icky.
I also would like to be in a faction that has some skilled RP'ers in it that are on a fair amount of the time, so I'm not always flying alone out there.
So, any thoughts, comments, suggestions?
PS. I dont plan on joining the corresponding player faction, at least not for a while, until I am comfortable.
Rheinland needs good unlawful indies. But unless you're hessian, that does mean you'll be getting a lot of alone-time too. If you want to try one, even if you're staying indie, try and get in to something on skype so you can at least get on at the same time as others.
The current crop are sparse on the ground but all great RPers

I'm never the recruiting type because I think a player should enter a faction under their own power w/o any outside nudging...but I will say that somewhere in your mind, there is a reason you mentioned the Gaians 1st.
I wouldnt' recommend him joining Xenos. Good rp'ers there last time i saw them, but too many ships will hunt him down. Not good for a first character, in my honest opinion.
I always found my trader experiences satisfactory in kusari (trader experiences meaning, beeing pirated). You could try becoming one of them!
