I am having the same things happen to me. I am constantly getting DC's and when I do a /ping I get a lot of n/a information. I've tried to do a mission or two, but I get DC'd on the way to the waypoints. When I log back in seconds later Im back at the base or planet, with no mission in my log. Also, anytime I dock I get DC'd.

By the looks of it that ain't lag but an faulty freelancer installation.
Re-install your FL
and don't forget to backup you FL ID's
And last time I had lag issues with the server was when the server was having issues because of the DDOS's.
But since thats already a few weeks back. I'm having 0lag 100% of my time.

Is it common for an installation become corrupted? I have had the game installed for about a year now and no issues up until the last couple of days. Nothing has changed on my end.
If you're in space and disconnect, then find that you're back on a base...the server has not received as much information as it should have thus such would be a network matter rather than of the game installation.
Ensure that you have done the usual virus, spyware and rootkit scans as well since these sort of cretins can drastically affect a network. If you've done all the necessary diagnostics on your end then you need to speak to the ISP so they can do their own checks.

Thank you all for the replies. I am still trying to find the root of the problem and will run a few tests to see what I can find out.
since sunday ive lags too, often yellow and red lags in regular playingactions like mining, trading and even stand around aswell. my ping is between 50-90, 1 ms Fluct, 0 % Lag and 0 % Loss. so it cant be my ISP, because other games and servers dont lag. and i reach my maximum download capacitiy regarding to download files. So is everything with the Server?
Well, after a long battle with my ISP's support system it's come back to being my problem apparently. I ruled that out as soon as I asked a question. But they've given up and just done the easy thing.
I'm putting it down to FL's bad net code, and the route I'm being given to get to the server.
I've pretty much given up trying now.
Thanks for all the help though. You've been a lot more useful than my ISP.
Last night, while sitting around 7k from a Kusari dessie, he got me with a missile??? lags a bitch
Not complaining here, it happens from time to time wether it be server lag or isp problems.
