I just had this thought, this can actually be used to balance weapons better: I tried that only on Corsair weaponry, but if you divide damage through energy drain you get pretty much a ratio, for Corsairs it'S normally 5:1 (Damage:Drain). Now, weapons with a higher ratio are more efficient, weapons with a lower one not.
EDIT: Example: Salamanca Mk II: 489 Hull Damage, 97 Drain. now make 489/97, and you get something with 5,04, that is the normal ratio for Corsair weaponry except Pulse weapons (Borocco has a ratio of 12:1, Tizona has 6:1)
What do you say about this method? Would this help the people more? Not original? Or just want to flame me? Post here!
Ok, I need you help now. I need the stats (Hull/Shield Damage, Energy Drain) of at least two weapons of every faction. If the faction has two weapon types (e.g Plasma and Tachyon) then I need two weapons of each. I'll post the complete list of faction weapons here:

This is how I've always worked out the weapons & I think there are 2 spreadsheets floating about with this already done. Have a search as I rember looking at it when beta testing

@onca: Oops, I didn't search actually, well, but I take every class of the weapons. I want this to be very accurate and direct, and it handles only the damage/drain ratio.
