It was during the Popular Revolution of Rheinland, darkest time for the Dresner family. When one of the oldest families in Rheinland - Formed soon after colonization of Dresden system - was no longer 'One'. While most of the members of the family decided to remain loyal to the Kaiser, others decided to join the revolution and take part in protests aboard Leipzig. It all started as Alfred Dresner and his two sons, Aldo and Albert joined the protests despite the disapproval of the rest of Dresners that tension raised among the family.
Before then, the Dresners were all members of Daumann Heavy Constructions, and were either operatives of Daumann mining stations, or workers in their factories. Being born and raised in Dresden for many generations, they held pride in their land, system and house. So joining a revolutionary group in opposition of the Kaiser was considered nothing but a traitorous move - a move which seemed to be in vain at the beginning. But as the tension raised within Rheinland, and the Popular Revolution gained more influence throughout the house and its authorities, many other members of the family - Mostly the young - joined Alfred and his sons.
Neither supporting the Kaiser nor approving of the Bundschuh movement, 'defectors' of Dresner family were dragged away from their first goal soon after the establishment of the new Federal Republic. Having lost their former homes and families, they settled down at Kreuzberg Depot, searching for a new way of life - As for sure, they were neither simple miners, nor glorious revolutionaries anymore. Having established a close relation with many of the Junkers around Kreuzberg after the decade they spent on the base, every member of the Dresners used one of his connections through Junkers to start a new way of life. Aldo, leaving with his wife and daughter to trade in Edge worlds, seeking profit, Albert becoming a Junker and starting a small weapons shop aboard Kreuzberg, and Derrick, their youngest cousin, going down a much more dangerous path.
It was then, that the small 'criminal' branch of the Dresners was formed. When Derrick and his newly-wed wife, Galiena, started to believe that as long as they have a ship, a gun and enough firepower to be considered a threat to a defenseless transport, they know the way to make a living. Starting as small-time pirates, and later moving to Omega-41, where they believed trapping down lost transports would be easier and much more profitable, they became the starting point of many late 8th century Hessian Dresners.
It became a tradition within their small family, to teach their 'Tools of trade' to their sons and daughters, and as the time went by, after the death of Hendrick Dresner, his oldest son, Friedrich - forseeing the fact that a 'criminal family' of theirs size, would not last much longer without the support of a larger organization - gathered every remaining descendant of Derrick Dresner, to find the best way to save the wealth of their family, and ensure the safely and well-being of their children. Joining the Red Hessians, one of the strongest unlawful groups within Rheinland and Omegas - who happened to come from a similar background to the small Dresner crime family - was found to be the best solution for them.
The bloodline of both Dresner families - Descendants of those who decided to remain loyal to the Kaiser before the Popular Revolution, the ones who still work in Daumann facilities, and the Descendants of Derrick Dresner, the Now-Hessians living bloodline of the family - continued to present day, both families trying to teach their children to be better than their forefathers.
And in 779 A.S. when the first child of Roderick Dresner was born aboard Vogtland, they named him Friedrich, in honor of their forefather who was the main reason of their survival to the date. Following their family tradition and teaching the young Friedrich their 'Tools of trade', he became yet another "Simple pie-rat under Hessens flag" as he later called it. Flying around Omegas with his father and pirating defenseless miners and transports - and running into some of their distant relatives aboard Daumann mining ships and transports every now and then - during his teenage days, even though turning into a rather expressionless and cruel self during his early adult days, also made him start to think that he should not be 'just another pie-rat' for the rest of his life.
As the Nomad Wars started, young Friedrich treasured the opportunity and started flying alongside many members of the Hessians with revolutionary and patriotic way of thought, who later became some of the known figures of the RHA after its foundation. *Coughs* Mike Stah *Coughs*
After the end of the Nomad Wars, Friedrich returned to his former activities as a regular pirate, but still kept flying with revolutionary figures of the movement, and even assisted them in multiple situations, when finally in mid 818 A.S. he decided to leave his past-life and family background behind and enlist in the Rote Hessen Armee, where he managed to use his prior experiences to climb through the ranks rather quickly, and in less than a year become a member Spezialoperationsabteilung within the Army.
