On the issue on the Havoc MK2 bomber looking like something out of the 21st century fighter aircraft
I really dont care that it looks un-freelanerish. Fact is Im really tired of hearing that complaint. And as of right now I have no desire to remake it. If you dont like it then dont fly it. So when I start seeing Im planning on doing a revision because I dont like how it looks is a pretty bad excuse.
The Liberty forces do not have a Navy bomber. So if you want to make one fine. Just stop saying the same thing about one craft over and over again.
*End Rant*
Sorry if I have offended anyone but I'm kinda getting annoyed about hearing this over and over again
I am not LSF and I love the look of the ageria. The stinger is the same way but people don't complain about that. I think its an awesome looking ship (don't know how good it is though)
i love ( and fly ) the virage. - the havoc is similar - looks mighty like out of the same shipline but heavier.
the only thing i dislike about it is, that in turret view - the camera is way too close to the ship. - but i like the model. used it two or three times ( but after you fly the BHG bomber, every other bomber feels like a brick:)) so i gave up and got my the virage.... great heavy fighter ( could need more agility with the rather low armor ... but thats selfishness )
Hate the ship.. Well, not the ship itself, but the looks.
Awful.
Blue cockpit is more then unwelcome.
Stinger sucks as well.
My opinion is that space is not a place to be for Jets.

"Don't fly it then" would have been cool if Liberty characters could choose, not so cool when it's the only choice.
I like Stinger
because it's supposed to be made to fly in dense nebulas.. so it needs to be very streamlined. It also doesn't look that much as an aircraft. Havoc does.
Igiss says: Martin, you give them a finger, they bite off your arm.
Well... what can I say... Leo's ships are all quite "particular" in designa and skin job.
At any rate... rather than that questionably "aesthetic" skin the Havoc and Tigershark have - I'd quite simply alter their shapes slightly and finally give a fully-legitimate bomber for Liberty.
I have nothing against tiger shark. It doesn't look like a Jet.
R. Claw, Havoc and such do look like 21st century Jets.
So, i don't like them.
They can be remade to have smaller and different wings, adjusted (like they are on a Viper).
It's not about freelancerish/unfreelancerish, i don't care all that much about that.
But, it is about spaceish/unspaceish. If you see what i mean:)

Well, bear in mind, that some ships have to make planetfall and thus - either work as big, had to steer self-propelled bullets or at least try moving in a more controllable and less fuel-consuming fashion.
The vipers are suited for both amospheric and zero-G flight. Same I'd say about Corsair flying wings, maybe Outcasts (since they look most areo-dynamic), Rheinland and Liberty fighters (NOT the Patriot/Liberator), possibly Kusari with their paper wings... Bretonians apparenlt prefer to make planet FALL literally :P
