meh, the texture on them was my gorgous "hammered copper" skin. - but yes, it looks like wood. mind you, it looked different while i modelled it -
anyway, the textures look greatly different in freelancer, cause there is hardly any system with "white" light.
for testing, i applied a rheinland texture on it. looked ok - ... just too rheinlandish. gotto check in-game what texture the CSV has, all i remember is something yellowish and something white / tan.
changed the design to what dusty suggested ( or what i think he suggested ). - moved the big boxes on the heavy design to the front below the cockpit - and attached them with a few tubes.
it does look slightly less "common" now. very heavy in the front and very light in the back. not sure if it suggests a heavy design. ( igiss said there shouldn t be a VHF design, but only a light and heavy for junkers, - well, with the CSV they do have something VHF anyway allready and the CSV II )
skin is changed to something less woodlike. - thats an iron texture with slightly rusty parts.
