[a bit off topic but...] well if u just hapen to have 3D sound turned on within your game if u turn that off it "could" help,A few months back fl always crashed on me when i used certain gates and jumpholes/stations etc i did a bit of research and it seems the 3D sound option has a fade in/out when using jumpgates and such efx that on some sound cards it dislikes and hence BSOD lol...

Now THAT is useful information.
And while F1ing is bad, there are legitimate uses of it I would think; simulating cloaking devices in VERY SPECIFIC RP battles with everyone aware that it might occur, possibly. Hmm, I wonder if Treewyrm has intentions to try that...

Thats right, also what about drop outs? I ask about the drop outs because lately I have noticed that I am quite often getting that red symbol up the top of the screen that lets you know that your client is having problems talking to the server (No it isn't the one for the missiles etc).
Now I can totally understand that there are some people that probably use the F1 trick quite often but what happens if someone hasn't used the F1 to get away yet ends up having a system crash, drop out or some other issue that wasn't done on purpose? I think that fining the person in those situations would be a bit hard to say the very least.
