if you are lagging and try to screenshot, it is severely delayed.
With the server having a constant loss of 10% for me, and the server kicking me every 5 minutes, it makes it impossible to get screenshots because it is waiting for the server to respond.
It happens sometimes, when I launch to space, my screen turns black and doesn't do anything.

Quote:The use of alt-tab or the evil microsoft windows key no longer causes freelancer to make your computer catch on fire. Probably.
Using alt-tab here makes the screen flicker to black and I can't do anything except keep trying to alt tab back and click the screen furiously in a desperate attempt to allow freelancer to regain focus. I suppose its part of the issue with windowing, though I noticed window mode still refreshing screen content now after losing focus unlike the -w window mode. Very nice.

Collision detection in asteroid fields seems to work just like usual to me. Tested with a Broadsword in the Badlands field in NY.
There might be an issue with the /si -keybinding. I had bound the key "p" to it and it activated the /si command even with the console open. But for some strange reason it did so not every time.

Even on the last version, if you windowkey+d after altabbing it should fix itself. Well, it does for me at least.

The ellipsis indicate repeated lines. (I think you get the idea.)
This sort of problem has never occured previously.
Edit: Please don't suggest that I take my ships off Pueblo for now. I have a loooot of ships there.
' Wrote:I checked out the User's Interface. Nothing there about Turret Zoom or Turret Steering settings.
Pressed H and held the Ctrl-key while moving the mouse wheel. Nada.
You have to bind keys. by default, pitch up, down and turn left, right are bound to mouse movement.
For turret steering, you have to set keyps under 'ship controls' or whatever for pitch up, down, turn left right.
Those keys will be the ones you steer with after you press H for turret view
