Just make sure you point it at the correct directory otherwise the info will be off.

Instead of pointing it to the Freelancer directory, it needs to be pointed to the directory where Disco has been installed.

While I'm here, are there 2 different programs called Flstat?

Since I see people talking about how useful it can be, but the only program I've been able to find only ranks players.

Yes. There's the FL information program, and there's the multi player statistics program.

Sorry, this whole post sounds like a blatant attempt to provide an excuse to PvP without any real role-play to back it up.

I've got it uploaded on my server (temporarily), as I couldn't find it anywhere on the internet myself either. See my sig.

Just download it and point it at the correct FL install (Settings -> "Freelancer Location...") and you're off. Too bad it's rather limited on what it can show on Discovery, though. You can't look up IDs, for example. Not that it's much of an issue when those are up on the forums and Wiki now, but anyhow.
