Im not too sure if this is the right place to post, but here goes.
At the moment I am trying to sell my ship on the forums. I made a post with all the info on it and someone expressed their interest, saying they would like to purchase it and asking where they should send the money to. I replied a few hours later telling them where to send the money, and that once they had done I would send them the character move codes.
That was a few days ago. No money as of yet or any message from them. I was wondering how long the correct time I should wait for is? I'm in no hurry to get the cash, its just others expressed interest in the ship and I would like to give them the opportunity to buy it if I have to. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Honestly, waiting a day is more than sufficient. As in 24 hours till you accept other bids or sales. However, if they do send you the credits after that day has expired, send them the credits back and PM them with an apology and an explanation. Goes a long way in keeping your dignity and their respect, which allows you to sell to them in future.
